The beignets are what I will be thinking about on my death bed!!!!

Now I have gone crazy on gluten for the past day. I have had gluten in many of it's glorious forms because I have to do a gluten tolerance test....and welp the body feels oh so bad. But after inhaling these doughy delights I am thinking it might just be worth it. CAUSE the taste was so sublime the SPIRIT IS LIFTED!!!! Bred gets all the props! Very warm welcoming folks. This is beautiful location, I have friends who have been raving about it saying "Bred has the most excellent food." Tonight I thought i would partake and grab dessert for at home consumption.

So this evening I actually ran into do a pickup order. BUT I forgot to hit send on the order. They could NOT have been more gracious! I was invited to wait there while they quickly prepped my order. Let me tell you I am wearing laundry day ware, only comfy clothes if no one can see you.

Well the folks here are beautiful both inside and out (normally I would be intimidated by the level of pretty of this staff!!!) But I was made to feel so very welcomed as I waited, bleach stain sweats and all. Anywhoo I'm really looking forward to coming back here with the big crew cuz this place has quite the vibe a full bar and is run by good people.

Firstly, when my friends and I sat down at the bar we waited quite some time before someone took our order. They never asked us if we wanted anything besides water. I ordered the Parmesan fries, tenders, a chicken slider and the beignets. The fries were cold, the tenders were just okay. The 504 sauce on the chicken slider was tasty and the beignets were soft and delicious. My friend ordered Cheeseburger sliders. Upon receiving her food she found a hair in it. The staff replaced her food and comped her order but her modifications were incorrect so they had to make her order again! It was quite painful to watch. The staff was friendly and apologetic but there was one guy that kept saying “I got you! You know I got you” but he in fact did not have us. This place was overpriced and over hyped. Maybe I’ll try the Dorchester location for a better experience.

Oh and also they had live music. It was cute but it didn’t really match the vibe of the establishment and it was way too loud....
