I first started going to the Rusticana in the Easton Marketplace 16 years ago when I opened my business in Easton, I was there so often I became friends with two of the staff and knew the owner as many locals do. I now go to the Rusticana behind Wawa. I was ordering a pizza for some clients I was taking to a BnB of mine they were residing in for the weekend, I was put on hold, I then was firmly greeted by Angie who informed me I ordered a pizza back in January and never picked it up, I was then told if I was to do that again I would pay for my pizza and the ones I never came to get. I have no recollection of this occurring -typically if I order food it is because I in fact WANT the food and am going to retrieve it. Also I have ordered MANY pizzas since January and knew nothing of this taking place I had the call on speaker and my clients in the car were not only taken back but as confused as I. I assured Angie I did not do that and as a business owner understand loss of profit. She continued saying the same thing she told me before verbatim and had a very angry tone. I told her never mind I would not be placing an order. She dismissed me and we hung up. There are MANY wonderful independently owned pizza places in Easton one can go to so customer service SHOULD be important to all retail workers like Angie. I went to Roma and per usual the food was great, the service was great-I will not be going back to Rusticana any time soon. Word of mouth is everything in these situations. Read moreI’ve never written a review, mostly because there has never been service worthy of recognition. However, today the three of us came in around closing time after hunting all day and the service was still phenomenal. We were starving after having not eaten all the day and the servers were quick to take our orders, get our drinks, and bring the food out so fast it felt straight from the oven. By far the best breaded wings I have ever had in my life, and I can confidently say I’ve tried plenty to make this statement.the pizza was warm and gooey, our sever even served our first few slices to each plate like a fancy sommelier. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Robby who was working (10/16) He was so tentative and kind. Making us laugh and never letting our beers get below the danger zone. He even brought me a container to take the wing sauce home because of how much I was raving about it. We only visit once a year but this will be the place we go to every time we visit. Read moreRusticana was one of our favorite places to order pizza for many years until lately. We had placed an order through Door Dash which it said to be about an hour for delivery. With it being a holiday weekend we thought not a problem. After 2 hours and 15 minutes and no food was delivered, my wife called to ask about our order. The woman on the phone was nothing but rude saying it will get delivered. You would think for a pizza, sub and salad and it being over 2 hours the employee would have said some type of an apology, but nothing of the sort. We were told the food would be made and delivered. Our food arrived but was nothing like it use to be. The pizza was cold and had no taste, the salad was warm and the cold sub was actually warm.
