The best Staff, they are the GO TO spot for everything on Route 15 in Jeffersonville before you head up to the Smuggler's Notch Resort. They are a gas station, convenience store, Deli/ pizza/Pastry shop. Seasonal Ice cream š¦šØ stand. Across the street from the Madonna Mobil/Subway and Next to the must visit "The Family Table" Restaurant. Walking distance to Church Street and behind is seasonal boating canoeing and kayak rentals "Bob's Boats". Down RT 15 is a seasonal "Burger Barn" and "Smuggler's Notch Distillery". The Cupboard Deli has been around a long time and has expanded over the years. A huge supporter of the local Fire & Rescue Department and family friendly. If you haven't stopped to see the Amazing assortment of goods especially for the food, you are Missing Out. Be warned āŗļø that the hardest decision will be trying to choose what to Eat because everything is absolutely Awesome. For example; the deli has over 30 types of sandwiches or made to order for the picky palettes (thanksgiving sandwich š„Ŗ is what I call it, my favorite Turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce), a whole display case of pastries and a small refrigerated case of cake's and cheesecakes (Fav. Plain cheesecake with chocolate chips), order ahead pizza šš. Pretty good size convenient store with some Vermont owned products; Ben & Jerry's, local š Maple and honey šÆ product's, Cabot creamery, and more. No matter what time you visit they're ready for you. Opening early for the morning people opening at 5 am and closing at 9 pm which cover everything from dinner rush to last minute shopping ššļø before you head home. Once I moved to Jeffersonville. No matter where I live in Vermont, I go back to stop by the Deli and the local places, it feels like home. It's a Great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Cupboard Deli is a wonderful little shop right at the crossroads in Jeffersonville. They have good creemees (some of the better creemees Iāve tried in Vermont) at very reasonable prices, hard ice cream, and then inside a whole selection of baked goods, to-go food and freshly-made sandwiches and more! Itās your good old classic gas station/convenience store/ice cream shop, but with a Vermont twist, so it just feels indescribably better than in other states. The staff is always very friendly, they have some excellent food options (perfect for a quick meal on the go or for a hike/bike ride/kayak trip), and itās conveniently located along the way to Smugglersā Notch! Whenever we are on our way to the resort each summer, we always stop by The Cupboard for a creemee (chocolate Norāeaster with Heath Bar or Snickers is always the go-to order), get some snacks, some food to-go, andā¦ask if they have their maple bread.
WHERE IS THE MAPLE BREAD?! Thatās the only thing I wish they still had. They used to have this big beautiful loaf of bread with a maple sugar crust - youād cook it on a pan and it was HEAVEN. I hope they bring it back to be a regular...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been there a bunch of times and had fantastic lunches where Megan made me something glorious, but today, I went for breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and told the nice lady to put whatever else on it that she thought would make it awesome. For some reason, despite my sometimes Michelin Star-level tasty lunch sandwich experiences here in the past, I expected more or less the same thing as all the gas stations around here have, but spruced up a little. « Mince alors!Ā Ā» So tasty!!
I think the secret ingredient must be love, in addition to maple mustard and bacon! They should rename their breakfast sandwich « Le Sandwich AmoureuseĀ Ā» instead of the ābreakfast buddyā. Sadly, I have no photo to add, because the only thought in my mind was the delectable repast in front of me, rather than the creation of a pictographic temptation for inquisitive future diners, which wouldnāt have done it justice anyway. Sorry about that! All should come and see and taste the creations of those whom the Almighty has clearly blessed with such gifts of...
