China garden — Restaurant in Campton Hills

My fiancé & I ordered worth $50 of food on our way back from visiting his parents, once we arrived home we came to see we had the entirely wrong order. Not 1 single thing was correct, we must’ve gotten somebody’s else’s! Which isn’t even the worst part! We called back the moment we realized to the mistake to be met with an incompetent person on the other end who put us on hold 2 times for at least 3 minutes at a time. Us being the people we are we decided they must be busy! Until who ever was answering calls came back on to say “we’re sorry we’re gonna have to call you back.” Which to we tried to explain what was happening & were responded with “we’re busy.” My fiancé and I are shocked as we have been ordering from this place for awhile & have never experienced this & they’ve usually been amazing! I would give them 4.5 stars, but since that's not an option I'll give them 5. Just moved into the area & on the hunt for our go to places. Found China Garden. It's a nice family owned & operated business & we always like supporting those being business owners ourselves.

Pros: Homemade egg rolls that had great flavor. Good Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, & Lo Mein.

Cons: Not my favorite dumplings, but that doesn't mean they weren't good.

This was my first time ordering. I decided to try the combination lunch chicken and vegetables. I specifically asked for NO water chestnuts and mine was loaded with them!! The chicken fried rice had only a few pieces of chicken in it. The egg roll was really good. I also ordered the steamed pot stickers which were good also. For the price, it wasn't worth it.
