Old Towne Pub & Eatery — Restaurant in Campton Hills

Last night a group of 10 of us went to OTP Wasco for the dueling pianos. We called ahead for a table and were told they had one for us. When we got there, we said we had a reservation and were seated. We ate, had drinks, and spent 2.5 hrs at the table before the band started. Then we were told they sat us at the wrong table and we had to get up! At this point there were no other tables so we had to stand. Apparently this table was reserved for someone else, and the hostess made a mistake. I understand mistakes happen however they did NOTHING to make it better. They argued with me that I told them another last name- the last name of the people it was reserved for. Like I’m psychic and knew this?! Absurd. I asked to speak to the manager several times to ask what they were doing to make this right and was told she was too busy to speak to me. She never came. One comped round of drinks would have been sufficient. We spent $100 just on cover alone and another $300 on food and drinks and they kick us out of our table and did nothing to make it better. Terrible customer service. I will never go back and recommend not giving your money to a place that clearly doesn’t care about...

I brought my family in for dinner .. we ordered an appitizer .. a burger , a wrap , and a kids pizza.

The fact that the server did not have a pen and paper to write down our order was a first red flag .. every time this happens they always forget or mess something up.

We waited for 30 minutes for our food .. Half way through waiting server came up and questioned if we had ordered a pizza .. mmm yes .. So I said if you have the other food can we have it because we were on a schedule ..

I ordered a medium well burger ..my burger was burnt .. my condiments were never brought to the table .. there was no ketchup or anything either served with the fries ..

Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with NO RANCH .. && it had ranch on it

I went up to the bar area and told them that we had to go and I was not going to pay for my two messed up meals ..

The owner? Or Manager never came out from wherever they were ..

I still had to pay for my food other than my burnt burger ..

First mistake : Wait time Second: Two messed up orders Third: No management or apology ... anything for us to want...

Update: 8/12/25 try their chicken tenders! They're tasty and not over cooked. Moist, flavorful. I also recommend their BBQ pork. You can have brisket for an additional charge. Both very good.

Update 7/10/23: The Old Towne grilled cheese is in its own phenomenal class of grilled cheese! Highly recommend. Arugula, two kinds of artisan cheese, balsamic drizzle, tomato, and bacon. Do not pass this meal up!

5/11/19 Try the pulled pork sliders with slaw on top because they're amazing! Once again, the Buffalo shrimp were a slam dunk. Always excellent service, friendly, clean.

Had the Buffalo shrimp and GRILLED (was so excited to see that as an option) parmesan wings. I highly recommend both. The homemade bleu cheese dressing is a definite must! Great service, great atmosphere for a game or porch like seating with an inviting semi open area. There are plenty of tables to choose from or seats at the bar. Great service, vast menu.
