Website states they close at 10 pm yet I was not able to place an order for delivery @ 8:50 pm because it said the store was closed. I tried changing it to Carry Out and it still said the store was closed. I called and was told they are doing pizza orders only and pick up only since they were closing soon. Over an hour before a scheduled close time and not able to make items other than pizza?
—————— 2 years later and they still have issues with this and will probably never attempt again. I started out on Google Maps which showed they close at 9 pm (Sunday) but that their kitchen closes at 8 pm. I tried placing an order on the app around 7:40 but kept having some issues then a message popped up asking if I wanted text my order instead for 10% off so I figured sure. Got a message back that they weren’t taking text orders at that time and to call the store. I called at 7:53, the guy asked me if it was for pick up or delivery. I told him pick up then told him which pizzas I wanted. He told me “just so you know we close at 8 pm”. To clarify, I asked “your kitchen right!” And he told me no the store closed at 8 pm. I told him both Google and the website show they close at 9 and he laughed and said “no 8 so if you can be here before then we can make your pizzas”. First of all, are you going to have my pizzas made in less than 6 minutes? If not, then why would it matter if I’m picking it up after close if it’s not done yet? Secondly why offer delivery if you’re saying you close in 6-7 minutes? Your websites need updated if your times aren’t accurate or else your employees need to be...

The opening weekend was Superbowl Sunday, they handled the service like pro. Other customers were being a little unruly and inconsiderate. They kept their cool, I've worked in the pizza industry during Superbowl and national championship and I can tell you, things get out of hand quick.
I came in to pay for my order on pickup and they credit card machine broke. I was the first order after it broke and had to wait quite a while. The manager was polite, while on the phone with the computer company was telling him to fix the machine and it still wasn't working. He kept his cool and have me my order for free. Which honestly I didn't expect.
That goes a long way with me. and I under stand opening a new shop with young teenage kids working a part time job, things go wrong. I will continue to give them m our business. And their pizza and chicken are fantastic. I also eat at the austintown location from time to time. Again nothing but...
Read moreWOW!!! If I could give this place more stars I would, I drive truck and deliver all over Ohio and when I seen that Gionino's was opening up close by I knew I wanted to try it. I have heard from many of my customers that the food was good, but they lied! the food was amazing and delicious and a few more words I can't Express. This will definitely be our go to place in the future . We bought 4 large pizzas and 1 small plus wings all for less than $80.00. Thank you all for your fast and courteous service, especially being a Friday night and the wonderful food.
Okay, I have to say this is one of the best restaurants to open in this area and we are going to be ordering from here again and again. This was the second time we ordered from here and it was better than the first, my wife got the meatball casserole and I had the chicken! The kids had a mac and cheese pizza and they totally loved it. 10 stars if I could, and I can't say enough about the staff working...
