Last week my pregnant wife got food poisoning from an undercooked quarter pounder. If that was the only problem, that would be bad enough, but half of that order was missing, a fact we only discovered after we reached home.
This order was equally as bad. We asked for six piece kids meals twice at the speaker and corrected them again at the register. They said they would correct it, but only ended up upgrading one kids drink to a medium?
Then when we asked for a kids drink instead they went inside and spent 5 minutes debating before coming back out with the drink. Then, they gave us our food, which of course we had to check. Two medium fries and no chicken nuggets, the first thing on the receipt.
We let the fries go, because at this point I was tired of arguing with them, but we asked for the nuggets and after another five minute window huddle they came back and asked if we were sure we ordered them. As I am sitting there with the receipt in my hand. I held it up without answering and they asked us to pull forward and wait. Predictable, we have had to wait EVERY TIME we go through the drive through here.
When our food arrived - twenty minutes later - we were not offered an apology or an explanation. This is rare because usually a plethora of excuses about them being short staffed, or the weather is bad, or there was a sudden rush are offered up as some kind of justification for their poor behaviour.
Instead we got burned burgers with more cheese on the bun then the meat, and no dipping sauce for our nuggets.
This restaurant needs new management and a visit from corporate, but in the meantime it should be avoided at all cost.
Its places like this that convince me a 15/hr wage is a bad idea. The people that work here don't make enough effort to deserve...
Read moreI went to get my mobile order from the Michigan Ave location in canton Michigan. It took a half hour to get my food at the window. They were favoriting one speaker so 3 cars that came after me got their orders taken before I could check in my mobile order at the speaker. They were unapologetic and didn't want to refund me. When I got to work my whole order was wrong. I ordered 3 sausage egg and cheese mc griddles with no American cheese and a steak egg and cheese bagel with no American cheese extra onion and sauce. The steak patty was super dry and grissely and half of it was inedible from it. It was cold and terrible atleast they made it right. My sausage egg and cheese mc griddles they made completely wrong and this is unacceptable. They made it with no egg and put American cheese on them. I order it with no cheese why are my eggs missing and cheese on the sandwiches. I left with an hour to get to work. Your staff taking a half hour to give me my food after paying made me late for work and I wasn't going to lose my money. This is unacceptable and because of their slow and speaker favoritism and taking forever for one order made me late for work and In a bad mood. I want some compensation or major discount for all the trouble I went through. This is by far the worst experience ever. How hard is it to read a screen and see no cheese how does that equate to add cheese and remove egg. I get people make mistakes but its all the time at this location and you cant tell me that this was a mistake this was just careless give me whatever food you had and not even trying. Read more2 experiences - first was a late nite stop for 1 item, just an unsweetened ice tea. The person who handed it out the window was very nice and repeated that it was an unsweet iced tea. I took a drink as we pulled away - lo and behold it was sweet tea. Drove down the street and back around to McDs and went in to get the correct drink. Went inside to the counter, told the manager that was standing there that we received the wrong drink. She looked at me like I was bothering her, threw her arm up and pointed to the teas over by the lobby drink station and told me I could get what I wanted over there....then turned and walked away. It was obvious that she was the one who did it wrong.
Second visit - I ordered one of the new swiss mushroom burgers to try it. It was made with mayo and not the garlic herb cream cheese spread. I didnt know until a few days later as I had never tried this item before...but definitely seemed like something was lacking for it to be a premium item. Was disappointed at my choice while eating this. I only found out the error because someone mentioned that they liked that garlicky spread. I was wondering what the heck they were talking about...so I checked the app for nutrition info and found out the truth.
Obviously, people need to be trained properly at this location and not cut corners...even when there is no need to as neither visit was during...
