Good bagels, but TERRIBLE service! They don’t care about people and their experience at all. Make sure they charge you the correct amount!

I say this after having a very difficult time on a busy morning.... Got a dozen bagels and 2 cream cheeses. Man helping me was not nice & gave me a difficult time about asking for plastic freezer bags... Perhaps not very fluent in English? Then ended up saying I owed $45!!! I questioned the amount but he didn’t offer any help, & acted like I was being annoying. I asked if there was somebody else I could speak to and was told no. He did not even offer to get help, to check, and/or explain why it was $45. There was a long line & he was being very pushy to rush me along. I gave in to this man along with the social pressures and paid the amount. After I left I called them. Spoke on the phone with a lady who checked and said it should have been about $23. Offered absolutely no apology and I drove back to get it sorted out. Implied it was my fault and I should not have paid it... I mean maybe I should not have paid it, but should not have been put in that position either & should not have been billed incorrectly. Didn’t offer any discount for the inconvenience or even explain why this man charged me so much and acted the way he did? Total disregard for customer service! Absolutely not ok. Won't go back. Check...

Excellent bagels! These are big thick bagels and boy are they TASTY! Yum! People giving poor reviews for these bagels are inaccurate. These bagels are well made and delicious. They have the soft doughy center and nice crisp firm crust, definitely one of the best NY style bagels in the burbs. Cream cheese is creamy deliciousness. Customer service was excellent, friendly and quick. I’ve been here before and I’ll be here again, they don’t disappoint (unless you’re grouchy and holding on to days gone past like some of these other reviewers). Definitely give this place a taste! Went in today to buy a bagel and a tub of cream cheese asked her to toast the bagel and I'll buy the cream cheese. She said we don't toast unless I put something on it. I'm buying the cream cheese from you. The dumbest rule I ever heard so if I was vegan I gotta eat a cold bagel every time. What a jerk she then asked if I wanted the cream cheese I'm like no thanks I'll just buy it at shaws next door then give it you. I should have stuck her with a cut bagel too she refused to toast. Not even sure what the argument is the cost if electric to run it through...
