Being someone who seeks out brewing companies for their beer and food when traveling, it was nice to see Old Dog open in Canton. I know they're working on their own brews and likely figuring out food options but I was disappointed overall... with the hopes I just tried it too early. Mac and cheese was good. Beans as well. Panini was fine. Brisket sandwich was boring. And portion sizes were pathetic for the price. You have to figure out on your own that all orders are taken at the bar and not at your table. Staff was very friendly. For now, there are much better options close by but I hope the feedback helps them improve...

They knocked it out of the ballpark it is some of the best German cuisine I have had since I went back home to visit 3 years ago. Sauerkraut red cabbage hot homemade potato salad and PinkleWurst. They even provided mustard and this is all to go add a little under $20 it was absolutely worth it. Read moreWent for lunch. Lunch nenu has little options. No appetizers at all to choose from. Potato soup was great. Roasr beef panini would have been ok if I had gotten without the sage. Sage was too strong. Side portions were extremely small. Got a coke and they came out with a 20 oz bottle. Thought that was strange not having fountain. 3 people with tip was $70 dollars. That's crazy! If the options weren't limited for lunch and portions bigger it would have been fine. I think dinner may be better. I'll try next time...
