If the service was anywhere near what it normally is, I would have given 5 stars. The strength of the normal service prevented me from giving 2 stars or fewer. There were 2 people doing other things. One gentlemen took my order and he was free after he did that. So why did the cook go looking for lids next to where the order taker was standing? Why did the cook walk to the back to look for lids? Any of the other employees could have done that. When the cook finally finished and went to the fridge, someone appeared to be doing inventory. So I had to wait longer. He finally pulled my food and started cooking. When my food was done, the order taker was ready! He had the to go plates set up and he was waiting. The cook said "I will get it". The cook took the plates and covers away, and grabbed two foil wraps. He wrapped my sandwiches for what may have been seconds, but seemed to be minutes. I rushed out with my food and when I got to the car, I noticed the wraps didn't even cover the sandwiches all the way.
I come frequently enough, usually in the 6 am hour, that half the order takers greet me and say "Texas sausage and Texas bacon to go"? I was very close, multiple times, to canceling my order on this trip. It just felt like the crew was TRYING to make me stay there longer. I will not be returning to this facility because of that one day.
For others who may read this, 99% of the time, I have had INCREDIBLE experiences. My food comes to 10 bucks and some change and I tip 5 bucks EVERY TIME!!!! I understand bad days, and people of different skill levels. The time it took just to START my order, then the delays and poor wrapping were just too much on this particular trip for me to bear. The food they did have was just okay but as I hinted to they did not have everything available. They were out of hamburger buns, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Plus they charged us the full $2.75 for gravy when the menu clearly stated that it was. 50 cents on the menu when ordered with the hashbrowns.
