Haven't been here since wayyyyyyyy before the remodel, for the same reason we left today, but the Canyon Ranch was packed so we decided to give them another chance.
It was half empty when we arrived, we were seated immediately then promptly ignored. We only waited 11 minutes (Someone tried to call as I was walking in) before deciding to go back and just wait for Canyon Ranch to seat us. The staff was kind enough to thank us for coming by after ignoring us the entire duration. I don't know how you can fix this problem. Maybe purchase glasses for all wait staff? Give people sparklers to light to flag down staff? I could understand if they were busy. I just get the feeling, anytime I go in there, that no one wants to work. We won't be back. I'd rather go to McDonald's next time, at least I get the service that I pay for.
P. S. Despite still being incredibly busy we were seated immediately at Canyon Ranch and the food was GREAT. It's a great place to go, literally a stone's throw away from this stinker. If I wanted to be ignored I'd go...
Read moreDon’t get me wrong I love their food! But tonight was just awful. My fiancé and I just wanted to go have a date night and after we got sat at our table we just got the worst service. Everyone was on their phones or just talking. Our server wasn’t happy at all, in fact she seemed so annoyed to even be a server. She would just sit our drinks down and say “here’s your drinks, are you ready?” And would rush us and if we weren’t ready she would just walk away really fast with a rude look on her face. And then when we were ready she was just in the kitchen on her phone. And my fiancé tried getting another worker’s attention but the dude at the bar was just laughing with his friends and the host was just sitting watching his phone with some other girl. All the workers were just focused on was either their phones or just closing. Absolutely ridiculous that we couldn’t get normal service. Couldn’t even get anyone to refill our drinks! This night was just a big let down by...
Read moreMy friend and I were greatly disappointed by Sayakomarn's Thai and Laotian food. She ordered Penang Curry, and I ordered the Kra Pao. What we received resembled neither. Her curry had no sauce (it all ended up at the bottom of the take out bag) and huge slices of jalapenos. My "Kra Pao" looked more like a pork stir fry ( I've been to Thailand and this is not Kra Pao). In fact both our orders ( as you can see) looked almost identical. We took our food back to the restaurant convinced we had received the wrong order only to be told that it was correct. They simply closed the take out containers, placed them in a clean bag, and handed it back to us. They didn't even do something as simple as replacing the curry sauce on my friend's VERY DRY penang curry. The bottom line is this is not authentic Thai or Lao food. It is bad pan...
