My wife and I thought we had found a new restaurant for breakfast, alas our experience this morning could not have been any more designed to drive us as far away as possible. After a 20 minute wait for a table that was totally understandable, we were taken to a table, our drink orders taken, and left to sit another 20 minutes, until I flagged a busboy down to seen if we could get someone to take our order, then to add insult to injury, a couple that had come in 10 minutes after us got their food, and had almost finished eating before we even got our food. Just a totally unacceptable customer service experience. Instead of becoming new loyal local customers, we will probably keep our distance for awhile as the food is not good enough to be a substitute for the subpar service we received. Thank you.

As an update July 6, 2021, to the previous post, nothing has changed. We decided to try Mike's again today and the hostess was quite rude in seating us.....the waitress came to take our order and said that they did not have any spaghetti for the kid's menu. Strike one, I ordered biscuits and gravy and was told there was no bisuits, strike two so I ordered 3 pancakes and bacon. The Food came out, and where the rude hostess had not brought silverware when seating us, the waitress didn't bring with food either. There were also only two pancakes,, not three as ordered (how hard is that to figure out). What in the holiest of hells is going on at this resturaunt. We were given the excuse of 4th of July weekend, but it is Tuesday and there is a Lowe's Foods right down the street to get the things you are out of. Regardless of the food items, the attitudes of the staff are just unacceptable. We wanted to give Mike's another chance, everyone deserves that, but when the same mistakes happen again as the first time, it is no longer a mistake, it is a choice to be that particular way. Thank you for the first two visits, we really enjoyed them, but we won't be...

Went here visiting for holiday weekend due to decent reviews online specifically for the buffet. Upon entering, we stood at the front right for longer than I can say with not one person saying anything like, “I’ll be right with you.” There literally were workers all around us. We noticed a little plastic basket they were retrieving DIRTY towels from to “wash” each table! (No bucket-no water!) When someone finally came and noticed us, they hurriedly jotted our name down and could not estimate how long for a seat and said food would take a while to and that they actually weren’t even seating anyone for a while. We ended up getting a seat and were told we were not supposed to have been seated! We opted for the sparse buffet that had been unattended, cold, and we were told was not being refilled. ($13.99) We were pressed for time and couldn’t spend more than an hour. The server had very little work at our table and really just had to write the order and get three drinks. She forgot my husband’s and never came back for any coffee refills. Brought my coffee in a chipped mug. Luckily there were about 5 cream containers because they were not brought or refilled either. She then slapped the bill on the table obviously done with us. Upon Lea trying pay our bill, the same in reverse of waiting indefinitely without anyone manning the register. In total spent over $50. Do not...

Update.. family encouraged me to try one more time. I called to place an order Saturday morning and waited on hold for 15 minutes (I use to work at restaurants so I understand you get busy) to be welcomed again by the witch at the front desk. I honest to god have never experienced this before. She said what? I go can I please place an order for pick up? She goes no, I can’t take to go orders now, call later….and yes, in the rudest voice you could imagine. im like you made me wait for this long just to tell me you can’t take my god damn order? Unless she’s the owner, I have no idea how she is allowed to work with customers.

Instantly turned off by this place JUST because of the woman taking phone calls and at the front desk. Unbelievably rude. Asked her how she was doing she looked at me and said I don’t know. I asked her what type of bread they had and copped an attitude. I get you may be stressed out, but don’t ever talk to customers like that. Not coming back regardless of...

This restaurant was stumbled upon when our adventure challenge said to go somewhere we had never been before and have dinner. So good! Their chili is definitely homemade, their Philly cheesesteak sandwich was so juicy and the ranch was definitely homemade too. It has such a homey vibe and had a cute little center attraction inside which is kinda shown in our picture. The waitress was an absolute doll too. Every question we had was answered with earnest and she was very helpful when asked about the bee caps. Finally we decided in their homemade carrot cake....mmmmmm. will definitely return.

The staff got me in, got my food and out the door as soon as I wanted to go. Came in around 12pm, got seated and served on the spot, got my food and ticket in about less than 10 minutes. Had the rest of the time to enjoy my meal with my peace. As food goes, it’s definitely ahead of Waffle House, dennys, and all those other restaurants. Us locals know this is the place to be 👍
