Ola! Well let me start this off by saying this. I come to realize I am not a fan of Cuban cuisine . I love Cuban coffee and the roasted pig. It stops for me there.

I have been here twice. Both times the people and service are outstanding. Now to the food. The quality is excellent/ BUT the pastries are not very sweet and there is TOO much guava offered. Cuban sandwiches are just ham and cheese with a slice of pork. The bread though crunchy on outside and fluffy inside it is verrrrrrrrrry plain like wonder bread.

I was adventurous and tried the Spanish omelet. It was terrible. It was like eating a pancake style omelet incorporated with ham & what I think was a chorizo sausage . TOO well done and arid to my taste buds. So I really did not enjoy my meal. Oh yes I did not ask for hot sauce. I tried what was on the table. Peso Pete I think a Louisianan style sauce. Tasted like a tobasco wayyyy too much vinegar. Oh yes they gave me these potato stixs. The kind that are in the can at the supermarket . THAT JUST PLAIN SUCKS . My bill came under 10 bucks so not too bad. And like I said...

Was a very good Cuban food. Not good any more. A lot of new better places to choose from now. Will not be returning after 5 years as there are better Cuban Food in the Cape.

This speaks to the kind of person you truly are. You dont want your customers or others who will read your reviews to read your hideous, and personal attack on an honest review of a 5+ year returning customer. You wrote a very, very nasty personal attack stating my lack of knowlege of Cuban Food, while I am a Cuban American living in Miami. I lived on the neighborhood across from Azucar and used to eat there all the time.

I was very surprised when last week my GF and I were greeted so rudely when we stopped for lunch.

I asked what was the special and was told Picadillo. I ordered.

when the order came the gantlam who took our order said. "I lied to you, the special is pork. It is a better deal anyway."

I didn't realize what he was talking about until we got home and sure enough, Pork.

No, "hey excuse me, the special is pork not picadillo. are you ok with that or would you like to order something else?"

Dude, I drive by a hand full of cuban restaurants on my way to your store. They all have pretty good food.

In this day and age with so many choices out there, don't you think it is a good business plan to show some appreciation towards your costumers? 🤔
