Holy Moly Ice Cream — Restaurant in Cape Coral

The ice cream was good. However 2 people in my party had ordered the cookies and cream creation and the vanilla tasted sour. This was after I heard another party complain about the 2 cookies and cream creations they ordered. Instead of fixing theirs right away and making them something else they told them they had to wait until everyone else was served so I told the workers to make theirs ahead of our order. When we got our cookies and cream creation it did indeed taste sour so we asked for something else, instead of ours being made right away they continued to serve other people and made us wait an additional 20 minutes for new ice cream. The worker indeed agreed that it tasted different but still continued to sell it which we thought was different. While the ice cream is ok, we will not be back. It takes far too long to get ice cream and there is only one machine that makes the spaghetti ice cream. It doesn’t seem functional and plan to be there at least an...

We tried Holy Moly the other evening. We got the Nut Wave which was hazelnut gelato over a whipped cream core, then with Nutella drizzled on top followed by white chocolate flakes, all in a delicious waffle bowl. We opted to have no nuts on ours this time. It was quite good and they have a wide variety of flavor options. This next part may seem negative, but it really wasn’t. There was something about it that just didn’t “feel” like going out for ice cream to me. When I go out for ice cream, I think I have a particular vision in my head of an ice cream shop for some reason, and this didn’t exactly scratch that itch. So when I want to go out for ice cream, I think I’d hit some other local place, but when I’m feeling something different and unique, I’d definitely go back to Holy Moly because it was really good and everyone was very nice. What a treat to find spaghetti ice cream in the US! The gelato is smooth and creamy, and the flavor creations are delicious - a treat for eyes and taste buds alike! We went almost every day we visited Cape Coral and tried lots of different creations: The cheesecake was my daughter's favorite (she said it looked like a work of art, and it tasted amazing - the white chocolate gelato and their homemade raspberry sauce are delicious), the Tutti Fruity is amazing if you want something fresh and fruity, the Choco Loco is for chocolate lovers, the Nut Wave is for Nutella lovers, the Kids is great for kids and candy lovers alike, and you can even come up with your own creation.
