Genius Cellphone & Tablet Repair — Local services in Cape Coral

I intentionally bought the Samsung S6 Edge because they are difficult to break when dropped. For the most part, this is true....well, unless it falls face down on a rock! I took it in to Gadget Guys because, A) I live very close to their business and B) because everyone I know that has used them have raved about them.

I called, gave them my phone information and was told they needed to order the part (not a problem, after all, it was still functional). I spoke to Jonathon. He understood my concerns and said he could relate to not having a phone while it was being repaired. He said I was more then welcome to hang out while the phone was being repaired.

When the part came in, I went to their location on Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral. I was impressed by all the work they put into the location. (You can't miss it if you drive by) and it was so clean! They have a display case with all the refurbished phones they sell (yes,they also buy gently used cell phones as well), but the ones they sell look like they are brand new! They also sell accessories, cases and obviously, repairs.

These guys are very professional and have such nice personalities as well. My phone took less time then expected to repair and cost less then other local repair shops.

I will be coming back to bring an iPad soon. You guys are the best. You have earned all my future...

I have had my galaxy note for over 4 years. I've dropped it over a hundred times and it just recently got a small break in the screen. (Which I had dropped since to no effect) I decided I should get it fixed I looked for a place that was rated well and seemed reputable. I had them fix my screen. Had it less then a week and I dropped it once on carpet The full screen is now cracked beyond recognition. This is the shoddyist work/ material I have ever seen I then went in and explained what had happened I was not happy 5 days my phone lasted. I payed money I didnt have to get it fixed because it is my computer. I could literally have just kept the small crack from years of abuse my ORIGINAL screen had taken it was obviously better quality. The materials they use are cheap. Customer service is deplorable. He even had the nerve to lie about saying I was told to get a better case. Then wanted me to pay him again for a job not done correctly in the first place. Why would I pay you again for a job not correctly done? Edited: I was ok with keeping severl old parts of mine because the person forgot to order it and said there would be no bad effects. But having this phone completely break a few days after it was fixed while on carpet is...

Edit: took my phone back they replaced it at no cost, battery is working great now, haven't had issues since. most places would just turn a blind eye. i actually miscalculated what they charged me, confusion came from me getting a new charging port i completely forgot about lol!

in my opinion they resolved my issue, leaving old review below, and giving 5 stars.

spent $60 to get battery, they then charged me another $89 after everything was ready. got this done in jan 4th, today(4/28, under 5 months), the new battery that i paid almost $160 went from 40% to 3% in under 5 mins. the battery is worse than the original battery that was on its last legs.

called over a month ago explaining my battery isnt better, the owner said he would fix it and get me i believe he said a battery from the manufacture, but that i have to pay another $40 on top of the $150ish i already had to pay...

i will say that the people that work there are great and the owner which i met and spoke to a few times are good people. but i feel this shouldnt have been how things went down. i also understand a business needs to make money but this...
