Subway — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Located in a small strip mall with a few parking spots up front and a larger lot on the side of the building. The turn is easy to miss since it's on a busy, higher speed road but it's easy to make U-turns if you miss it.

I stopped by around 2pm on a Tuesday and they weren't slammed, but did have a small line of about 5 people in front of me. Kinda stayed steady - as one customer left, another walked in. All in all, I was out in about 10 minutes.

I used to restroom before getting in line. It wasn't clean so I used it as quickly as I could. The toilet was pretty dirty and there was garbage on the ground. I assume when it slows down for them, they'll have someone service it.

I got a veggie delight on a basil wrap and they loaded it with the toppings of my choice. Like 3 of the people in line were extremely hard of hearing so I felt bad for the workers having to yell every question they asked to the older crowd, repeatedly - they did their best to accommodate which was really sweet of them. It was clear almost every worker was training as they turned to one gal with a handful of questions. They all did great and I hope they enjoy their job.

Rude employee tried to give me old meat (it was 2 different colors). Got mad when I insisted on fresh bread and cheese too. Refused to throw it away and kept wanting to put it back saying it wasn't a big deal and it was just because part of the package wasn't refrigerated.

Then he argued about my coupon and refused to honor it for myself or the person behind me. It clearly said buy ANY sub and get a 6" free and he said it had to be two 6" and showed me another coupon. I showed him that mine was different and he didn't care. Finally he called the manager who wouldn't honor it either. He finally said he would for me so he didn't have to throw away the subs that were made but wouldn't honor it for the people behind me. They left and I won't be back.

Choose a different location where they aren't so...

I am a regular costumer to this subway until today. The owner is a very rude Indian guy who was manipulating the food with his mask down, he was talking with the other employee while he was preparing a sandwich, I told him to cover his mouth because the virus is still here and he just asked me to go a out of his store. I think the people who manipulated food should cover their mouth all the time, but more now with the COVID. This guy is very rude and I don't...
