This food truck is situated right outside of Carbondale heading towards the Scranton/Carbondale Highway, and right off the Meredith Street exit from the Casey Highway. It's tucked in a little off the road and could be easy to miss. They are open from 11 am to 8 pm. I highly suggest you call in your order as there was only one person ahead of me and I waited almost 20 minutes for the fresh cooked deliciousness that was my lunch. It was TOTALLY worth the wait; however, if you are limited on time, order ahead.
The food was delicious! I ordered the chicken/shrimp hibachi, which came with perfectly cooked Japanese fried rice, vegetables (onion, carrot, squash and some kind of bluish cabbage?) and "yummy" sauce (which IS very yummy BTW--ask for extra and thank me later). The shrimp was grilled and not overcooked. The grilled chicken chunks were tender. The food was so good I almost choked on a piece of rice from inhaling my food lol. #IcantbelieveIatethewholething They give you a nice portion of food--I was full a little more than halfway through but it was so good, I couldn't stop eating. Now I want a nap! I am so happy this place is only a hop, skip and a jump from...
Read moreI don’t always write reviews but when I do it’s because food greatly disappoints or greatly exceeds my expectations. WOW!!! This food was all spot on!!! I had the steak & shrimp hibachi along with a side of calamari & noodles. Wonderful flavor and texture in everything. I also wanted to try some sushi while I was ordering and got the Blue Nori Volcano roll & Las Vegas roll. Incredible presentation and the texture and flavor were out of this world. The portions were large so I have plenty of leftovers which I can’t wait to enjoy tomorrow! Highly recommended if you want great hibachi & sushi at a very fair price for...
Read moreService was good but food was not the best. We loved this place when it was in the food truck but the last two times we’ve ordered it’s not been that great. The hibachi portion is much smaller then similar restaurants in the area and not cooked as well. The sushi I was not impressed with at all. I order spicy Kani/ spicy crab stick roll at restaurants all the time and have never had it served as just a hunk of crab stick with spicy Mayo thrown on it. It’s always separated and flaked up and mixed throughly. I’ll stick with the drive to Dickson city for sushi and grab hibatchi from the place...
