Dante's Deli — Restaurant in Carbondale Township

Obviously, it's only fair to compare this to other places in its class; this is not a five-star restaurant. But for what it is, I'm inclined to give it all the stars.

We went with friends after a work night, and honestly had a lot of fun. The alcoholic slushies were strong but good, and the cooler had an ample supply of everything you'd expect to find in a beer store cooler. Our group really liked the chicken wings, and they smelled great. I didn't ask them to accommodate my food allergy, so I didn't try them, but they certainly looked good and people were happy. They had a pretty extensive food menu otherwise, too.

Dining area and unisex restroom were clean, and the place was oddly comfortable. The parking lot felt safe even after dark. It was a good place for a group of friends to buy a bite to eat and a round of drinks after a long day, and I'd happily repeat...

Best wings in town and they don't use tomato paste!!! Wings are actually big and meaty and juicy. They could have been a bit more crispy but overall best wings I have come across so far out here. Blue cheese is nice thick and chunky it is not watery and the stalks for the celery were hard and crunchy. The wings were on point. Service was quick also and awesome customer service from the young lady and the man on the phone they both answered all my questions. Wasn't too fond of our two sandwiches we got the buffalo chicken hoogie and something I came up with the chicken on both were dry so maybe some different kind of chicken would be better. Definitely order in advance before going takes 25-30 minutes for food which is good because it is being made right...They make the food to order and man the subs are delicious...I had chicken cheese steak and wiz not American or the Pittsburgh style with lettuce tomato and mayo.. 🤢 yuck...a real cheese steak and it rivals Pats with the chicken cheese steak and a close one for the cheese steak of Pat's.. definitely great food and have adult slushier and various beverages..
