Pettinato's — Restaurant in Carbondale

Didn't even want to put one star but didn't have an option if I wanted to give my real opinion overpriced small amounts of food,$10 for a glass of cheap wine and the worst of all the people that own it or so snooty think they're better than everybody else and that only a certain class of people can go to this restaurant meanwhile the parking lot is full of Fords and Chevys the only person that has a Cadillac is the owner not worth the time if you ask me better off going down the line, actually don't have to go that far Taco Bell will give you just as good slopp as they have,but if you happen to be one of the seven Richards that do live in Carbondale then I guess that is the place for you put on your Sunday Best say cheese oh that was...

From placing our takeout order to enjoying our delicious food, Pettinato’s was delightful! We ordered dinner for four, late on a Friday night, and the owner was kind, patient, and friendly as he took the order. Our food was ready at the appointed pick-up time, and was still hot when it arrived home (30 minutes later).

From the stuffed mushrooms, to the garlic bread with cheese, to the flatbreads, the salad, and the entrees - everything was of high-quality and tasty. Takeout can be challenging to get right, but Pettinato’s has figured it out.

Considering the price, the ordering and pick-up, and the quality/flavor of the food, we all agree that Pettinato’s earns an “A” grade. Thank you for doing such a great job, we...

We had a reservation at another local restaurant and they were very rude to us. After waiting 25 minutes at the other place we walked out and found Pettinatos! The minute we walked into Pettinato's we were given a very warm welcome and undivided attention the rest of the evening. The chef/owner introduced himself and even the bus boy was very polite and accomodating. The pricespwere reasonable for how delicious and home made the food is. Best chocolate cake I've ever had too. Great coffee for a restaurant and a quiet atmosphere, which is just what we were looking for. Pettinatos will continue to be a special place for us to dine from now on.
