It's a shame you can't give a negative star. This place in Carbondale is the least professional. It's the busiest weekend Carbondale has had in years, and they unexpectedly closed early two nights in a row without telling anyone. The only way to find out is by showing up and trying to get in line, just to be told they're not taking orders 50 minutes before closing time. Bright lights, delicious ice cream 🍦

Wazos Big Chill is a historic Carbondale staple. For more than 70 years, it was a Dairy Queen. When DQ pulled its franchise, local ownership decided to keep the business going, rebranding as Big Chill.

The iconic neon sign was reimagined, bringing life back to the ice cream shop.

I really like this friendly, home town feeling ice cream shop. This place has history. Been serving the community a long time with hard work and pride. They serve delicious ice cream. They have a very diverse menu with just about something for everyone. The staff are polite and seem up beat and even enjoy their roles at this small but clean shop. It has a very pleasant & comfy atmosphere. Well done...
