Beeman's Baked Goods — Restaurant in Carlisle

I was so dissapointed when I went in to p/up my $40 tray of cookies! Its to have 5 dozen cookies, which it did, BUT! It was sooo small. Cookies were like "tea cookies" tiny, one bite. I was never told that. You assume your getting a regular size cookie. It was for a ceremony/venue for the county. I would have been so embarrassed going in with it. I had to stop at another store, buy $20 more cookies, went home disassemble their small tray, thank goodness I had a large tray, I rearranged all on it. So now I have a $60 cookie tray! Ridiculous. I measured, their tray was 12" !! Thats 2" bigger then a dinner plate. Again ffor $40 ridiculous. SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY, GO ELSWHERE. I WILL NOT BE BACK. Everyone I have talked to said, Yes they wont be going in the prices are way too high. Wish I had known....

Wow! I live in Harrisburg but I stopped here in between showings last Saturday morning since I had a little extra time. I have high standards and I am so impressed! I think they said almost everything is made on site from scratch. The chocolate covered eggs.. omg! The orange and PB flavors YUM. I have tried lots of candies and these are seriously amazing! Their wheat homemade bread.. yes!! So fresh and melt in your mouth delicious. I am already thinking about when I can get back out to Carlisle for another visit only I will buy much more stuff next time! The staff was friendly as well,...

When you walk in this store...it smells sooooo good!!! You can smell all the fresh baked goods that they are making!! It's amazing!! Their molasses cookies were EXCELLENT ( very soft and chewy)!!! They reminded me of the cookies my grandmother used to make for me and my siblings when we were going up!! The sticky buns were also extremely delicious!!!! The workers were very friendly too. Definitely stop in if you're in the Carlisle...it's...
