you might be better off avoiding this place. Stood by the entrance unacknowledged for 15 min unsure if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. There were a bunch of staff just hanging out by the register, paying no mind, there were maybe four tables already seated, so not busy. Finally got seated after taking the initiative to interrupt them and ask. We got seated right by the kitchen/register, and got next to no service. We had to wave down our waiter for drink refills (while we waited for our food) as she tended to another table more consistently. My husband got carne asada tacos, they came out as just a scant bit meat in each tortilla. There was no cilantro, cheese, onion, etc. We dressed them ourselves with stuff from the salsa bar, which was not pointed out, i just happened to notice it on the back wall. I got the bean Gorditas, there was no flavor, also ended up using the salsa bar to make them more palatable. The rice was bland. The salsa bar should not be a substitute for flavor. Went in 01/22/23 on a Sunday morning around 11ish. It was very busy, later as lunch time came around it started getting busier. The staff are very polite & knowledgeable of the menu. My parnter had ordered the chile rellenos plate. It's served with 2 chile rellenos and a small palm size of mashed beans & rice. For $13 that's kinda steep for the portions your given. I had the small menudo with buttered bread. Flautas mexicanas (6 count) Everything was very flavorful & delicious. 😋😍 There is also a salsa bar with different types of salsas and sides (chopped onions, cilantro, limes, radishes, Pico de gallo.) Horrible service. We were the only white people in there, and 3 tables who came in after us got served before us. Then, they brought 2 of the 3 kids' food, while the 3rd kid had to sit and wait another 10 min. for his food. My husband got his food about 10 min. after our friend and I did. My husband took a bite of his baked potato and it wasn't even fully-cooked (still hard) and the meat in it was cold.
