Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Carlsbad

Leaving a review on mine and my husbands joint email account: My husband works in the area(he’s oilfield) and he came into this Ross tonight to buy some outfits for our daughter that’s going to be due in a few months in July and our Two Year Old Son. Being that my husband works out there meanwhile we live in East Texas, he was very surprised on how much inventory they had for baby and toddler clothing as well as how packed the mens and womens sections of the store were. Where we live our Ross’s don’t have much at all you’d have to spend hours looking for stuff, my husband came into this Carlsbad NM location and was instantly impressed and a bit overwhelmed with how much they had. Even when we used to live in El Paso a couple years ago those Ross’s never had much. So he was definitely surprised with the amount of clothing they had for literally everyone and with all the really nice expensive brands at a affordable price. Definitely a way better Ross than the ones...

During my recent visit to the store over the holiday season, I noticed that it was particularly busy, which is understandable given the time of year. However, the store layout could use some improvement; the aisles are quite narrow and elevated, which contributes to a cramped shopping experience. Additionally, the organization of products could be better, as many items appeared out of place, making it difficult to find what I needed.

Despite the high volume of shoppers, I appreciate that the checkout lines moved quickly, allowing for a relatively efficient purchasing experience. However, I was concerned by the frequent triggering of anti-theft alarms throughout the store, which was quite distracting.

Overall, while I recognize the challenges of holiday shopping, I believe there are opportunities for enhancing both the layout and organization of the store to improve customer...

Love the prices !!! But the store was messy, things thrown everywhere. And employees just standing around talking to other employees ! Couldn't even walk through half of the store because of large blue containers EVERYWHERE!!!!!! I EVEN tried getting into an isle where an employee was and instead of moving the huge plastic container out of my way she started talking to another employee ! I love Ross and have been to very very many lived in Tulsa ok where there store was amazing compared to this store. When I got into the line I was next to be checked out and the 2nd girl doing the checkout said she wasn't open a few minutes later another employee walked up with things to purchase and she checked her out then went on talking I was not happy !
