China Garden used to be pretty subpar. And then they shut down for a few weeks and they have really made some massive improvements that can’t be understated. The last few times I’ve ordered since they reopened my meal has been super fresh and piping hot, with much better quality ingredients than before. Idk if it has to do with the health department or what, but I can see they’ve made real strides to make the food better which I appreciate, I feel like there are very very few decent Chinese food places around here. At this point I do wholeheartedly recommend China Garden. P.S. I usually order the triple crown with spicy garlic sauce, with white rice. Their Rangoon is good too, and I love their sesame chicken. I don't know on this one.. the rice had a slightly burned taste to it. One of my shrimp had a horrible taste and made me think about food poisoning. Sweet and sour chicken was good, didn't care for the shrimp egg roll because there was no shrimp well once I got to the bottom I found just the tail of the shrimp. The pork egg roll was better and I asked for water she gave me a room temperature cup of water so I was basically forced to buy a diet coke for $2.00 what the hell!? Avoid this place. Awful experience. My husband ordered the food and I picked it up since I was in the area. We were charged way more than the published menu. The place was visibly filthy dirty. When I arrived home they had “forgotten” to include the rice that should have accompanied the two dishes we ordered. I immediately called and they did not apologize but just said I could come back for the rice or could pick it up “next time.” They insisted they could ( would) not give me a partial refund.
