Fields Market Garden is such a special place — beautiful, peaceful, and full of purpose. One of the things I love most is their mission to provide meaningful employment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You can truly feel the heart behind everything they do. The urban farmer is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does, and her love for gardening and teaching the community about healthier living is contagious. Every visit feels grounding and inspiring. The flowers are absolutely breathtaking — truly the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever received. Supporting this garden isn’t just about buying produce or flowers; it’s about investing in something meaningful and life-giving. They’ve even added a greenhouse and farm stand, and there’s monthly yoga during the warmer months along with other fun, family-friendly events. If you haven’t been, it’s definitely worth visiting — it’s a place that reminds you of the simple, good things in life. 🌿🌸

I love that Carmel has started this urban farm!!! My husband bought me a weekly flower bouquet subscription for Valentine’s Day. Every Tuesday, June thru Sept, I would go to Fields Market Farm and pick out a gorgeous pre-made bouquet 🌸. The flowers, grown from seed, were always a fresh and vibrant assortment of colors and textures. There was also fresh produce to purchase at the time of pick-up. The farm transports you into the country, even though it is in Carmel by the Monon. The urban farm manager is a delight and you can tell she is passionate about the farm. I loved going there! I’ve already told my husband I would like another subscription this Valentines Day. Get a subscription! You will not be disappointed!

My daughter Mary and I absolutely love Fields Market Garden. Mary was blessed to have the opportunity to work there during the summer months and she learned so many new skills! First she and I went to volunteer which was so much fun then she got the job thank you to Kate and Rebecca. We both loved not only the beautiful flowers she brought home weekly but also the produce from tomatoes to herbs and pumpkins. We can’t wait for next spring!!!😊

OmGOSH. This little garden place is amazing. We drove by- turned around at Freeland and popped in. There was nothing at the stand but lovely Ms. Angie came out and started chatting with us. She let us know that everything was moved inside. She mentioned that we could pay by cash or online. We went in and chatted with the volunteers and staff member. I look forward to helping Fields grow and prosper. What an amazing legacy for their daughter...
