Advertised $1 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The steak and Al Pastor tacos are juicy and flavorful. Corn tortillas are soft and the meat is well portioned for the size of the tortilla. Not the most amazing tacos I've had but very good for the price. Complimentary chips and salsa are fresh and crunchy. There are two hot sauces. Salsa Verde is cool and tangy. The red sauce is not exactly hot or memorable but it will definitely make you sweat. The place is often filled with locals and gets a lot of customers. Seating is limited to seven tables in the restaurant. Seating area is not air conditioned and there are no fans and visual entertainment is limited. There are two bathrooms and they are well maintained. I highly recommend this place for the $1 tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Sugerencias Número uno El servicio al cliente de la Sra. Mari, Maricela o Marcela es pésimo. Ella responde con actitud o ni responde. Entiendo que es un trabajo duro y tal ves estresante. Y que aunque ella sea familiar de la dueña el trato pudiera ser mucho mejor si estuviera capacitada y ofrecer un mejor service al cliente. Llega tanta gente diferente los martes y jueves y todos merecen el mismo trato como para tener una persona tan ruda y fea al frente. Pienso que deben trabajar mucho en servicio al cliente. De hecho varios empleados de una componía cerca de esta localidad en Carol Stream dejaron de consumir por esta misma razón y por la persona mencionada anteriormente. Ojala su actitud sea mejor ya, que la comida está rica. *•Número 2 de nada sirve tener frente al mostrador un SMILE AND BE KIND cuando esta persona no lo es. Ya que, el resto de las Jovenes son muy amables a excepción de la Sra. Mari GRACIAS

The rice was fishy the beans were soupy and the burrito had 60 percent onions in it im very disappointed I paid only 12.50 for my order but it still wasn’t worth it the service wasn’t the best the lady didn’t even crack a smile I won’t be returning

I placed an order online for chicharron tacos, and after picking it up and getting home I open the box and it’s chicken tacos. I verified first if I accidentally clicked the wrong thing, but I did not. Receipt shows chicharron tacos. We called the store, and they first tell me it’s what I wanted. When that’s incorrect, it shows on my receipt, chicharron. Then she continues with that they don’t have chicharron. I would give 1 star but because other times when I DID get chicharron tacos, they were delicious. But it would’ve been nice to at least get a call or tell us right when we pick up that they don’t have any more and maybe suggest...

This place is wonderful. I've been coming here for years. The service is prompt, concise, and easy to approach. A hidden gem if you ask me. While it ain't fine dining, for the working man, the food is fair priced, tasty, filling. Depending on the order, it may take as little as ten minutes minutes. In an economy that stifles small businesses, it's important that we support our local businesses. The people that own this family-run restaurant are kind and hardworking and deserve every dollar of business they get. Whether you're from around here or passing by. You'll enjoy eating here, I...
