Warning: Avoid this location if you want to have a decent meal/night!
Just had the worst Pizza Hut and quite possibly the worst customer service experience ever.
Walked in to pick my order since my app said the pizza was ready. There were two girls behind the counter. One was on the phone and another cutting and packing the pizzas.
One thing I noticed right away was neither of them greeted me or acknowledged me for coming in. I waited patiently for one of them to free up and help me.
As I waited, another gentleman walked in and waits a few seconds but then proceeds to ask for help(assuming I may have already been helped). I said to the girl with the red hair “excuse me, I was here first” and she says to me “he’s here for door dash, I won’t need to ring him up”. This is my first issue with this experience, why does it matter what he is there for and what she has to do for him? I walked in first and should be helped first. I waited regardless while she helped him. After this gentleman left, I still waited for them to acknowledge me and ask to help. I asked again about my order and she finally asked my name and handed me my order.
I was upset about this whole experience and asked her for her name so I can report her to management for this terrible service and her very negative attitude. She would not answer me and told me “you can leave now!”
Thank you Pizza Hut for such terrible service. Doubt I’ll be coming back to your stores again, especially...
Read moreI placed an order almost 2 hours before I wanted to pick it up. Once I got to the store at the time I told them I was going to pick it up it wasn't ready. I would have been fine waiting like 5 minutes for it, but it took 20 minutes to get my order done. I should have just walked in and ordered it. How do you not have the order ready. On top of that they seemed not to know where peoples orders were. It felt like they didn't start to make my order until I came in to pay, otherwise why did I have to wait so long. The staff was very unprofessional there. One kid had a bat that they were playing with, this is a business not play time. There were too many people "working" there, yet not much work being completed, I had to wait around for my food but was not comfortable there. The biggest upset was when we got home and ready to eat one of the pizzas wasn't even cooked all the way, you could see the individual shredded cheese pieces and it wasn't even hot. Order was 45 minutes late. No worries, I get it, places get slammed and backed up. Did they call to let me know? Nope.
Pizza finally arrived, ice cold. No joke, the ambient temperature in my house way warmer than the pizza.
Tried to call the location 7-times to inform them of the issue. Never got connected to a live person. Every time it rang until the system hung up.
Dominos is killing it compared to this level of “service”. Never again “pizza” hut of carol stream.
