On Point Nutrition — Restaurant in Carol Stream

I stopped here today for the first time. I had the pleasure of talking to the owners, very kind hearted couple. I have traveled around the country for many years and have sampled many acai bowl places, probably over 50 different places. Most of the places have the very standard acai base, what makes this place so unique is definitely the QUALITY ingredients they use. Their acai bowl has up to 25 grams of protein! They blend in vegan protein powder into the base, it makes it very creamy and very filling!

The toppings are very health conscious, chia seed, hemp seeds, goji berries, oats, and so on. It's gluten free, lower sugar content, and packed with protein! Yes, it still taste very good and smooth. People think that all acai bowls are naturally healthy, that is not true. There is a reason why they have so many 5 star reviews, the owners are very passionate about the quality of their product and also the health benefits to their clients.

Where to begin??.. On Point Nutrition is AMAZING! I was welcomed walking into this lovely establishment. The ambience is very calming. It has a sense of peace and homey feeling to it. On Point Nutrition is family oriented and owned by husband and wife. Eddie is educated and knowledgeable about nutrition and takes his time with every customer. He is attentive which is a major plus. I had the tea of the month which was the California Dreamer, great tea and Iam not a fan of Teas but this one was GOOD. Great refresher, and metabolism booster. I also had the acai bowel which I just might be back everyday to grab for a meal replacement lol. We are so blessed that Eddie and his family has chosen to share his love, talent and knowledge of nutrition with us. I will be back and I will encourage everyone to visit. See you...

First time trying this place .and last time It took them about 4 minutes to acknowledge that we were standing there waiting to put our order, I figured ok they are busy, then the lady comes and ask if we know what we are having my husband asked for the hulk tea and I had a question about the shake she answered then walked away at that point we should of left, I called her back placed our order she said ok it will be a few minutes. We waited over 20 minutes and then I get my shake that tasted like piña colada when I asked for a mango smoothie and my husband never got his tea. Other people walked in order and got their orders right away. When we paid the lady was like oh you wanted the hulk and still was not ready. My husband paid and didn't even get an apology for the delay. We will not go back bad...
