I went online online and ordered 3 s9 which is sesame chicken 1w/o sesame seeds. And 2with lo main 1 regular. The menu says they are $10.25 each. I also ordered 1 order of crab Rangoon which is priced $4.75 That comes to $35.50+tax .When I arrive I'm charged $61.65!! When I asked why? oh the online menu is old one. What? Aren't you supposed to charge someone the price it's marked? So when I ordered I wanted a boneless chicken, they tell me they don't sell that. So when I looked at the menu it's on there and it's the same thing as sesame chicken w/o the seeds. Wow! Ok so now I get home and all the chicken is the same (all have seeds) and no crab Rangoon. I call them and they said that they're in the bag. I said no sir they're not in there. He says in the small bag, I told him we only got 1 bag. So he argued with me that he put it in there. For a good 10mins. Then he says well bring the stuff back. Really? You want me to tell my family not to eat and for me to drive all the way back there so you can continue to argue with me over crab Rangoon that I was over charged for anyway and run my gas out of my car and by time I would get back home all the food would be cold! Wow Really? The worst experience...
Read moreI always judge a place by their Dim Sum / pot stickers / dumplings and their soup. Ordered to go in person, both the steamed and the fried ones, and a pint each of egg drop and spicy sour. Food was freshly prepared and out the door within 10 minutes or so. Now....for the big surprise.... It seems that they have tailored their food to a certain clientele. The dumplings were exactly the same ( except the "fried" were only done on one side ).... as for the filling.....it was sweet barbecued meatballs, you know, the food service gnarly kind they serve at Ryan's!!!! I have no idea who had suggested this to them. The dipping sauce was also overly sweet, again, not authentic. The soups were okay, even though the spicy had hardly any mushrooms or tofu in it..... Seems the quality of Chinese restaurants, which to me means "serving Chinese food", rather than bland sweet backwoods food made to resemble Chinese dishes, has been on a constant downlisde in the last three years. Pity. There's another place nearby that serves proper tasting Chinese dishes. We won't...
Read moreUPDATE: I ordered once again and asked for extra spicy this time. It was perfect! So thank you. I'm a happy customer! I have always loved this place and particularly their Singapore noodles. Having not ordered in almost a year, I see now that they have a number of different ones rather than just the traditional which always includes chicken, pork and shrimp. If that's what you want, it's now called the house Singapore Chow Mai Fun. To make it worse, there was no heat in it at all and no curry powder to be seen. I'm really not sure they should even call them Singapore Chow Mai Fun to be honest. Anyway they weren't terrible, they just weren't really Singapore noodles and what those who know the dish would expect. They seemed to be just salty noodles in all honesty. In any case, next time I order I'll ask if they can make them hotter and with curry powder. It really makes the dish! I would recommend them still as their food is generally...
