My go-to Subway for a few years but recently my experiences and the food have tested my faith in humanity. One employee in particular working there is in desperate need of some Jesus or meditation. I won’t be returning to this location because she messed up my mental Feng shui so bad today. I had to “ Hakuna Matata“ myself the whole way home. She messed up my pickup order the past two times I’ve been there, and this isn’t a huge problem, just kind of left me really hungry. First it was a sandwich, came with the worst combination of toppings and did not include the bacon I paid extra for (I was honestly impressed with how well she ruined the food) today she worked her magic again on my salad. She really wanted me to try her favorite dressing because the salad was drowning in something I did not recognize (I had ordered no dressing). Oh and the incorrect toppings were just another reminder to stay humble. Cherry on top but I’m still hungry. The real reason I’m writing a review is because of my interaction with said employee today. My boyfriend and I both ordered and paid for bottles drinks on the app, his with a meal and mine separate. We made absolute sure that we selected a bottled drink because Homegirl will throw hands if she wasn’t clocked in and catches you in the drink fridge while picking up your order. So, we walk in praying to get our food, we confirm our order with someone else at the register, things are feeling safe. But, there is only one fountain cup and no bottled drinks out with the food. Tensions are rising and I feel the fear creeping in. I look at my boyfriend and do the unthinkable- I aim for the drink cooler. Before I know it she’s there, I can see her before I can get there and she tries to stop me. With tensions high I remind myself to be calm and to breathe. It’s going to be okay. She’s coming now, eyes burning a hole into my hand holding the bag of food. I shakily raise it, receipt in plain view. She scowled and said “ok”. I grab the drink from the fridge thinking we had made it. But the battle was far from over. She had lured me into a false sense of security that I admittedly fell for. She was ready to strike again. I was only allowed one bottled drink. I pleaded, “I’ll show you the app, I’ll show you the order”. I could tell mercy was nowhere near. Basically It turned into a full argument over a drink . I eventually said “Subway got paid, and we ordered this, we’re just doing what we’re supposed to by getting what we ordered and you’re telling us we’re wrong, if this is an issue with the app or corporate then you should take it up with them”, she said “yes, but we don’t get paid the money”… I didn’t really know how to talk to someone like that and the conversation wasn’t going anywhere so we left. See you in hell,...
Read moreI went in there today to pick up my mobile order, I needed to use the bathroom being that I’m a mail carrier it’s not easy for us to go to the bathroom just anytime, so I really needed to go and the women’s restroom had a sign that the toilet wasn’t working, so I proceeded to go to the men’s because when you have to go you have to go, as soon as I opened the door it smelled like straight poop, then I came to realized there was poop on the toilet handle, on the floor, on the sink it was just disgusting and you can tell it was there for a while because it was dried up, I got out of there and went to the women’s even though it had a sign, I wanted to see if the toilet was really broken, I flushed the toilet and it was working properly. I washed my hands, grabbed my food and left out of there, the whole time I’m thinking if the person that made my sandwich was his hands after using the bathroom. I don’t think I can go back after...
Read moreI got a familiar sandwich so I know how it was supposed to be made. I watched the young lady make it and I know she didn't put all the ingredients in it. I asked her if that's how it was supposed to be made and she said yes. The look she gave me was very unprofessional. I know she didn't make it right, and she did too. She looked at the other worker and they laughed. They were white and I was black. I really felt some kind of way about that. The last person that fixed the same sandwich was white and very nice. I left a $3.00 tip for $9.00 sandwich. How you treat people matters. Subway please watch the people you hire. Some please aren't doing your...
