El Paisa — Restaurant in Carrollton

The food here is great , but the communication is not . When it comes to people who aren’t able to speak English , I completely understand and try my best to understand or help out . But the older Hispanic man was so rude to me today when I was trying to order my food . I tried to call it in at first , but he kept acting confused so I just decided to go to the store . While I was ordering he kept looking off as if I wasn’t even there . So after the fact , I got my food and went back To ask for extra sour cream ( I didn’t mind paying for extra , I assumed I would have . ) he kept telling me that it was sour cream in the bag , I told him that I know and I just wanted extra sour cream and that I didn’t mind paying extra , then he told me that I would have to pay ( which I had already stated that I didn’t mind) . I have Spanish speaking family , I would never disrespect anyone who wasn’t able to speak English because I’m aware that some people don’t have the resources . I don’t disrespect people in general , but when running a business you should at least try to accommodate your guests . I was trying so hard to be calm and understanding but he kept catching an attitude with me about something that we clearly were agreeing about but he couldn’t understand that . I ended up just having to leave because I didn’t want to be rude or cause any...

I wish had looked at the most recent reviews. I would not have came. It’s all one stars for the last year. Came in a little before 3pm. Place was empty and the employees were just chatting and ignoring us. Even giving us glances like they were annoyed to have our business. They didn’t acknowledge us at all. We should have left but I was really wanting the lengua tacos. After 10mins, I was giving up but then a cashier finally came and asked us to wait. She had to get her cash box ready. They had no Lengua. All that wait for nothing. So got Barbacoa tacos and tripe taco. And sour cream chicken enchiladas. My friend got red beef enchilada combo #11. My gosh…. I wish I had walked away. The Barbacoa meat was okay but the corn tortilla were over fried. Felt like I was eating tostadas instead. The trips was horrible. They tasted like they were under a heating lamp for hours. They were crunchy, chewy. It hurt my teeth to chew but it wouldn’t break down. I just didn’t eat it. My sour cream chicken enchiladas were so salty and the chicken was cold. As for my friends food...

i come here to eat almost every sunday , and i always order nachos with just cheese and beans and with the fajita on the side. so just yesterday me and my boyfriend ordered one order of nachos with just cheese and beans and meat on the side. and then another order of nachos with everything on it. when we pulled up to the drive thru my order was ready in about 3 min. i look at the order and everything seemed okay until i got home. my house is 3 min away and let me tell you when i was eating the nachos with just cheese and beans the beans where dry , my nachos bearly had any cheese sause, had pieces of onion which i didnt ask for and some of the chips were soggy. my boyfriends nachos where supposed to have everything on it but it just had a little bit of cheese, dry beans , soggy chips and didnt come with any sour cream at all. i was so dissapointed because i always order this and everything is always great . we payed 6$ for each order i am grossed out and we just ended up throwing it away , i will not be coming...
