Hos Coffee — Restaurant in Carrollton

Made a stop at Hos Coffee in Carrollton and ordered what looked like an outrageous amount of food—2 white and 2 chocolate cake pops, brownie bites, egg bites, a chai iced latte, and a chocolate espresso muffin. The truth? I’ve got four kids at home and I knew I’d be forced to share, so I came prepared.

The egg bites were hands down the best part—absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. The chai iced latte was smooth and refreshing, though next time I’ll ask for cream or cold foam to take it up a notch. The muffin surprised me in a good way—just the right amount of chocolate to make it rich without being overpowering (and I’m not usually a coffee flavor fan). The brownie bites were decent, but I prefer mine extra fudgy and chewy—these were a little more cakey.

Service was quick and they gave great recommendations.

This is absolutely one of the most lovely coffee shops I’ve ever been to. The staff is so helpful and efficient (all the people working on Saturday, 6/3 around 1p were so friendly and kind, especially to our toddler). Atmosphere is on point, with plush chairs, spacious sitting areas and calm lighting.

Drinks are out of this world. One of the baristas suggested I get the Machu Peach-u tea iced with peach sweetener, and while I generally don’t go in for sweetened tea, this was like a sip of pure summer sunshine. Loved it so much I bought some of the loose leaf tea to take home. Fantastic food options and really quick service.

I’m sad I live so far away (Dallas!), but this will definitely be a stop on our road trips from now on.

Top Notch Small Town Coffee Shop!

I discovered HOS Coffee in July 2023 while in the Carrollton area for business. This is now my go-to for coffee and lunch when I'm in the area. At the time, I thought my only options for early morning coffee were McDonald's. I'm so glad I found this Coffee spot, as they have a great selection of drip coffees, Latte, espresso-based drinks, locally made pastries, sandwiches, and other items. The staff are always friendly and attentive and they make our drinks as fast as they can. There are always at least two people working behind the counter whenever I go there for coffee.
