Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Carrollton

Very upset… papa John is my go to when I want a pizza… but definitely will not be ordering from this papa John’s anymore . I told the guy I wanted the Philly cheesesteak pizza but instead of the ranch sauce I want Alfredo sauce and than just cheese and meat nothing else.. 1st met a very RUDE DoorDash driver… 2nd I get home to eat the pizza and it literally had ranch and and everything one it. Onion green pepper everything after I told them 3 times what I wanted on the pizza to be sure . I couldn’t call when I got home cause they were closed so I called this morning and the GM told me that my credit was in the system so I called after I got off work to use it and was told that they can’t do anything about it and that I’m not in the system and I kept trying to tell them that I talked to manager this morning and she said I’m all set . I ordered a small Hawaiian barbecue pizza and 8 wings. After 3 hours and calling back a 3rd time after being told that the order was on the way they told me that the driver had just come to my location and couldn’t find anybody so they had to return to the restaurant with the food. I said well no one contacted me and I’m parked right out front...they then gave me some nonsense excuse about how whoever had taken my order (as if they didn’t know???) had written down the wrong phone number. Mind you that I had now called 3x total and they were looking at my number in the caller I.D. when they were telling me this. Laughingly 😡 , they said they’ll reimburse my money back to my card as they are were closing...as if I didn’t need my food , and now everything else is closed so I am unable to order from anywhere...

The pizza itself was great—fresh, hot, and ready quickly. No complaints at all when it comes to the quality or speed of the food.

That said, the service experience left a lot to be desired. When I walked in, no one greeted me. I stood there for a bit feeling awkward while several employees walked around, visibly busy, but not one person acknowledged me or made eye contact. Everyone seemed annoyed or just completely checked out. Eventually, someone from the back came up to the counter to help me, but the lack of any basic customer interaction was disappointing.

I don’t expect over-the-top energy, but a simple “Hey, we’ll be right with you” or even a smile would’ve gone a long way. Hoping this was just an off day, because the food...
