I’m beyond ecstatic that Sabaidee just opened right down the street from me! 🙌 My family and I stopped by today and had such a great experience.
It’s a takeout-focused spot with a few outdoor tables—perfect for when the weather cools down. You can order online to speed things up, but we ordered in person and it didn’t take long at all.
The prices are super reasonable for the amount of food you get. I tried the Pad Thai (which I don’t usually go for), and wow—bursting with flavor! The Nam Khao (crispy rice salad) was so good—I ordered it very spicy and it hit just right. Just a heads-up: the roasted chili peppers do pack a punch! 🌶️🔥
The kids were obsessed with the wings and chicken potstickers—seriously, they couldn’t get enough!
We also got to meet the owners, a husband and wife team who were incredibly welcoming and kind. Thank you both for making such a meaningful impact on the Lao/Thai community and for bringing your delicious food to the neighborhood.
We’ll definitely be back to try everything on the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood,...
Read moreSaw this store in Addison area and have always been curious about it. Saw that they opened this location which is closer to me and had a chance to try it today.
Firstly, I have to say- I appreciate the spice levels and they actually meet the spice requirement ! I wanted spicy and it was perfect.
Fried rice was decent. And the chicken salad was as well. The only thing that brought the experience down was the WILTED LETTUCE that came with the chicken salad. And they were tiny pieces. Im not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be but it wasn’t enjoyable.
Other than that- it was decent. Would definitely come back to try different menu options.
Edit: after finishing 3 bites of the chicken salad with the lettuce I decided to pour the remaining chicken salad in the fried rice….. that was the move! lol it was delicious. Just fyi if you come across the...
Read moreThis place was fantastic! It is the first time my husband and I had been to any Sabaidee and we will definitely be back. The inside is small, so it's nice that they have some seating outside, with umbrellas, so you can enjoy your food. There is a kiosk inside where you can place your order, but we ordered at the counter so we could ask questions. Everything sounded so good so it was hard to narrow down our selection, but we decided to go with the veggie rolls, garlic wings, dumplings, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Our order was available in 15 mins - really quick. We loved that the portions were large enough to share and everything was so tasty. We will definitely be back and take advantage of their...
