KFC — Restaurant in Carrollton

Have been here many times, mostly drive thru, usually no problems, decent food. Tonight was TERRIBLE. The two crispy tacos I got were so thin I could have stacked them on top of each other and they wouldn't even measure 1/4 inch tall. Worst tacos I've ever had. Ordered no tomatoes on them, and the Mexican Pizza, the "pizza" only had what it's supposed to have on it in the middle. Had a 1/4" ring around the outside of it was just tortilla. (No sauce, or cheese, or anything)

Wife had a cheesy gordito, seemed ok, but her chicken quesadilla again, was as flat as can be, and burnt. Chicken in it was few and far between, and seemed to have a lot of grissle type pieces. Dr peppers were probably the best part of the meal.

Kiosks to order didn't work, one shut down mid order, tried the next one, shut down at exact same spot in my order.

Finally placed my order at counter, was given my two drink cups, go to fill them- no ice in machine. Go back to counter,(to get ice for drinks) guy who took my order is now on drive thru, with two other people now in line to place an order. Also saw like 3 other people who were sitting at tables, with no food. Can only assume they were waiting on orders. Out of chicken?? Last time I was there they ran out of chicken, kept announcing to everyone who walked in, it would be 20 min for chicken, some people turned around and left. Those people tonight were still sitting/waiting when I left.

I See an employee over by the restroom in seating area, chatting with two people (Mgr.? Who knows) She obviously wasn't worried about all the people at counter. She then came back towards register, I think "Ok, here we go" She walks right past all of us, and heads to back of store. Finally my order is ready, and I have to get the guy handing it to me to get me ice (one Lrg, one Medium) he puts like 6 ice cubes in each, comes back and says "Is that enough? Or do you want more ?"

I said it's fine, got drinks and left. (have ice at home )

All around completely horrible experience

Very not normal for this place, not sure what's happening here. Will have to think about coming back, I never eat KFC (Always Taco Bell side ) so, there are better Taco Bells in the area. Came tonight cuz it was on the way home from work.

What a mistake. Absolutely horrible...

It's been a long time since I've been into a KFC restaurant. I can say for sure that the food here was absolutely great, though the service could use work-granted we ordered many items. On this trip , we ordered a bucket of crispy chicken, the chicken pot pie, and the spicy chicken sandwich. The crispy bucket of chicken was hot and fresh, moist and tender and flavored great, though a bit too salty! The spicy chicken sandwich was hot and a great size for price, though not quiet on par with the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich (but a great substitute!) The chicken pot pie was also worth the trip; was sized well and had a great flavor with a flakey crust. The mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. The service though could use some work in my opinion. Upon arriving, there wasn't a greeting nor anyone working the front. Granted, we ordered many items so I can see why the kid may have been a bit nervous. When we got in the car with our to go order, we noticed that the mashed potato gravy container was not closed all the way, and spilled all over many items. Also we noticed we hadn't received one of the smaller ordered items. When we went back to collect these, we informed them of the spilled gravy and he and another man, who I assume was the boss, simply said "ok." And also seemed to imply that it was our fault why we didn't receive the missing item. No apology or any sort of urgency. Despite this, we did receive our order quickly and the bathroom...

After speaking with the store Manager Mohammed I decided to give it another try. My chicken was cooked perfectly and I have no complaints. I applaud Mohammed for making this right!

I arrived at approximately 3:58 and couldn't place my order until 4:16 due to a communication issue at the register. You would think since there were several staff members standing around watching TikToks they would have opened another register. I ordered a 2 piece combo with mac n cheese and a order of nacho fries and cheese. I didn't receive my order for 20+ minutes and even then I had to approach one of the staff members standing around on the phone. I checked the bag and I saw I was given chips and cheese instead of the fries I ordered. The young man did not offer to swap them out or anything so since they were for my grandson I just ordered and paid. I arrive home 2 blocks away sat down to eat and noticed I was given mashed potatoes instead of mac n cheese but to top it off the oversized thigh was undercooked. So basically I waited over 30 minutes and the only thing worth eating was my grandsons nacho fries and chips and cheese. I did not return the food as I refused to leave the house and waste anymore of my time, I was suddenly reminded why I live two blocks away and haven't been to this restaurant in over 4 years. Some things never change a complete waste of $11.77!!! I ordered chicken...
