Okay Wafflehouse. We can do better. Hi folks. Hopefully smiles are finding your faces, food passing by smiles to bellies. That said, review.
I'm aware of my first world privvy. I still love a good diner meal. Wafflehouse is trying, but starting to slip. I love their cheesy eggs. Want great hashed browns? Wafflehouse.. smothered, scattered and crispy.
Sausage patties? Please stop serving then if this is what we're doing. They took one of the 2020 patties, sawed it in half disc wise. They are about a quarter of an inch thin. About the size of two silver dollars stacked. This should embarrass everyone working there or ordering them. Just stop, or charge us more for a real patty.
We have premium brunch spots in the DFW metro because obviously we're willing to pay for better fare. Please, Wafflehouse, step up to your diner heritage.
Toast has gone off the same cliff. They've switched vendors and now a slice is half what a slice of Mrs. Bairds or even Wonder is. Thin wafers of bread. Stop.
The coffee was still smackin good, hash browns, excellent. Service stellar, friendly, on point. I'm getting spoiled on higher priced spots though. They charge so they don't skimp. Maybe Haus de Waffel will reconsider before they squeeze themselves out of business.
Yes, folks want cheap eats, but the eats have to still be worth my gas to go out. I have eggs, all the meats, a killer Belgian flip over waffle iron, I rule home fries. My grits? Please, I'm from Mississippi. Don't play with me, I burns.
Give me justification to not ride by. The economy isn't dead. Help us spend money to keep the economy alive.
Everyone take care of yourselves. Take care of your loved ones as well. Call your mom, she misses your voice. Hug your dad, mine isn't with us. Hug your kiddos, even that one...
Read moreWe were looking forward to our breakfast here today! We havenât eaten out a lot with our new baby. So we decided what the heck, havenât had it in awhile. No wait, we were at immediately, they were out of high chairs, no biggie we waited until we could get one. It took the server Trish, 10 minutes before coming over- she did acknowledge us. After she came and took our drink order, she got distracted and never brought our drinks. Mind you we have a 3 year old and a 7 month old. We are working on limited time. So at this point weâve been sitting there 20 minutes with no drinks. I called her over to order our food and reorder our drinks⌠finally she brought our drinks. But no coffee. WaitedâŚ.waited⌠she wasnât even starting to work on it. I finally had to stop someone and ask him to bring me coffee. Then our food comes out. She didnât bring my daughterâs waffle!!!! Probably took another 8 minutes before she brought her waffle- by this point our baby was at its wits end. So we had to pay for our check and leave. I had to stop at QT to get my daughter breakfast. After we just sat at Waffle House for over an hour. Sad part is, everyone else in the restaurant was getting great service!!! It was full and people were enjoying their time. It was strictly the service that ruined our experience. I wish we wouldâve had another server. Oh well, we will not be back to this location. We received no apologize, just an excuse that she can only do so much. lol. Good...
Read moreGone here twice with my fiancĂŠ . First time our serverâs attitude seemed a bit negitive but our food came out great. We figured it should be okay for us to come back another time. The second time we went, our server, Danielle was extremely rude and unprofessional. We had already ordered our food but the menus were left out in front of us and she told us: âCan you put up those menus? Theyâre not placemats even though a lot of people think soâ. This was very disrespectful and we couldnât believe she had the audacity to speak to us like were kids. When she came back to refill my fiancĂŠâs coffee she didnât ask him if he wanted a refill so he told her âno itâs okay. Iâm still working on itâ and she just said âKayâ in a grumpy tone. She was also taking care of another table with a family and she definitely spoke to them rudely as well. After that she dropped off the receipt with us and continued to converse with a customer there on how she went to a ethnic house hold where they ate on the floor and ate food with pita bread. She talked about how it was a disgusting experience. I took great offense to that because in my culture we would do that all the time with rice. Itâs okay to have opinions but to be talking smack about other cultures in your workplace is very childish. Due to the bad service we only tipped 2$. Will not be returning. Other than the terrible service, the food...
