Dominguez Pizza Carson — Restaurant in Carson

After many years of ordering from another Popular pizzeria place, I introduced Dominguez Pizza to my family. This place is my jobs favorite pizza spot too! Sadly, I had the worst experience almost 2 wks ago. I placed my order online. When my order was delivered, I was missing 2 items. I asked the driver and he mentioned that the lady ONLY gave him what he was to deliver and requested that I call and ask. I called and the Female owner answered. Told her my items were missing and she instantly told me to pick up my missing items. She said her driver is on lunch and the driver who delivered was not her driver but a third party. I told her why would I pick up if I paid for delivery fee, drivers tip, restaurant tip and taxes?? She then said I would have to wait another 45 minutes!!! I told her I was upset and then she says she's busy and hangs up. I drove to the place and introduced myself and guess what? It wasn't busy!!! She said she had me on hold because I kept talking. Seriously? I then ask her for a refund and she said she couldn't. After going back and forth for almost half hour, she tells me I'm not the one w/ a business and that it's not her fault the driver didn't take my items. I told her she could've atleast VERIFIED MY ORDER! She then says it's not her fault and that she could not give me my $ for the missed items. Told me to call the 3rd party. Well, I told her I will. I did and they said she could give me my $ for the missed items. They verified my story w/her and she told them she would give me my $refund and that she was sorry. Well, NO REFUND has been made. I do not plan to go back and that's sad because this owner belittled me. It took me alot to hold back.. I thought I was doing a good thing by supporting small businesses but, this is UNACCEPTABLE. HOPE no one has to go through what I went through. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is good but not worth the experience. Dominguez pizza was unable to donate to the teacher strike. We, Rancho Dominguez teachers are thankful to the other local businesses, Las Palmitas, Alea Café and Golden Dounts for the donations received all week long January 2019. They still have good tasting food. We do appreciate how the other local businesses agree that our population of 1000 students and their families contribute to the local economy.
