Golden Express & Donuts — Restaurant in Carson

I have a soft spot for this place. Their food made fresh is very very good. But over the years ive come across some poor experiences. Like tonight for example; I walk in with a couple ahead of me. I overhear what they want (spicy chicken wings) but there is only 3 left. The customer asked for 6 more which would take 20 min. When it comes to my turn i planned to order 4 combos. I asked what time they close as google says 8pm but the woman said they clean by 740pm. I walked in around 540pm, which should be more than enough time to recieve what I want for dinner for my family. When i asked for orange chicken, beef & brocolli and terriyaki chicken. Ibwas told they had no more terriyaki chicken and so i decided to take my business elsewhere. Honestly the food selection should be more fuller around dinner time and portions...

CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!! I went in for donuts and they only had like 12 left, so i ordered some chow mein, orange chicken, bbq pork, and some cream cheese wontons. They had to make the wontons so they put everything else in a bag and set on their counter till wontons were ready...so i sat down and waited 10 minutes till they gave me "my" bag...i walked all the way back to work and when i opened my container i had white rice and some kind of chicken kabob...at least i had...

The ice blended caramel and vanilla lattes have got to be the best I have ever had. I am totally obsessed! In my opinion they surpass Starbucks by far! No questions about that! But then again the large iced coffee is just as good. It's always so hard to decide if I want ice blended coffee or just a regular iced coffee cause either one of them has me almost in tears when it's all...
