FYIā¦THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE STARBUCKS ON CARSON STREET IN THE LITTLE SHOPPING CENTER ACROSS FROM THE DOUBLE TREE HOTEL and Carson City Hall NOT the Location off of Wilmington!! I went through drive thru with my daughter tried ordering food and the young lady was very sarcastic and over talking me. I drove to window so that i could speak with a manager and complain and place my order there. BIG MISTAKE.I arrived at the window to see the young lady that was rude laughing with the other staff and looking at us. A guy approached and i asked if he was the mgr he said no. I asked for a mgr and a young lady with Dark curly hair approached and said she was the mgr. I explained the situation to her and instead of hearing me out she said the young lady taking my order was not rude and there was a miscommunications. I said i an your customer and i feel that she was rude and all the laughing etc. was disrespectful. I asked for her name and the girls name because i was going to make a formal complaint. She said her name and i asked i tried to place my order. She said that I COULD NOT ORDER AT THE WINDOW AND WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE BACK THRU AGAIN. I was in shock and asked why because every Starbucks Iāve been to throughout the years i have added at the window or placed a forgotten item order etc at the window. She said No and that I was messing her timer up and to drive back around. I said thatās horrible customer service and i would not drive back around. She would not take my order and even said to me that she would call the police if I didnāt drive thru. I kept my calm as frustrating as this was and asked her why she was doing this that this was disrespectful discriminatory rude and then i asked her to give me the higher up managers info and the customer service info to make a complaint, she refused so I started to take notes on my phone of her name and look up info so that i could so my comt. I told her that i was not driving thru until i could order and she again said no. I proceeded to take my notes and she said she would call the police if I didnāt drive thru i said call them I have done nothing wrong and I will move when i get the information i asked for or find it myself on my cell phone. I told her that I had NEVER been discriminated and belittled and disrespected like this in my entire life and that I would be reaching out to corporate, she said to me that she would be doing a report too. This was the worse experience and I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to get a drink from here yesterday night around 5 pm almost six pm and overheard the manager I assume or someone who thinks they are yell at a man outside who you can tell isnāt mentally stable telling him he had to leave and that he had to hurry up. She goes inside the store which only had two people sitting together who didnāt seem to have been bothered by this man and I can tell the workers are All talking badly about this man outside I immediately felt empathy for this man considering he was doing nothing but doing whatever he was doing. The worse part is I bought him something to snack on and drink he chose after he finally accepted my offer and I asked him if she was being mean to him and he said no sheās cool I mean she told me I had to leave but she wasnāt really being mean to me. He apologized for the way he was acting which I didnāt find rude or offensive he was just doing whatever he was doing so thought that was polite and he told me thank you for thinking about him and that I made his night.. only saying the details to show he wasnāt someone who deserved that& him still respecting her& being polite says a lot especially for someone whoās not mentally stable and has any excuse to be as miserable as she was. I go inside and ask for my order politely because idk whatās the full story to be rude to her and she says oh you can get it there. And I go get it where itās just laying on the counter and I tell her thank you have a nice night where she completely disregards what I said and ignores me to continue her conversation. I never leave reviews but Iām hoping her job humbles her because it makes them look worse having her work there then to have someone loitering outside.....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAll in all, I like this location. I frequent it often, and they've always been quick and accurate with my orders. I'm generally on the move, and given the fact that the lounge at this location is closed due to Covid-19, I can't really speak too much on the disposition of the employees and/or their customer service. But, all in all, I can't say too many bad things about this location.
With that being stated, one thing that I have been finding rather irksome is how the baristas at this location prepare any drink from the cold brew line. I've recently been getting back to these drinks, and every time I order a cold brew, regardless of how little time has passed between the drink being set on the counter to being picked up by me, the cream is already settling in to the rest of the coffee. While I wouldn't want to have a cup of just straight-up, black coffee, I do like to have a couple of sips of it by itself before mixing the drink myself. Having my drink(s) mixed before they get to me is what put me off about the cold brew coffees the first time around.
Ultimately, it's a small gripe to have. But, it's one that I've heard others...
