Subway — Restaurant in Carthage

Rudest experience at a subway I’ve encountered. I asked for a footlong on herbs and cheese and the manager actually audibly sighed at me. Nobody in line behind me and only one ahead. At the same time, she was training a new employee and was actively making him out to be a moron. Not to mention the lack of cleanliness.

I travel the entire U.S. for work and stop at subway frequently because it’s quick, easy, and I love sandwiches. Normally the employees are tired, understandably, but very friendly nonetheless. This manager was just out-of-this-world rude and was not what I was expecting. First time I’ve never tipped at a subway. Avoid this store. Corporate should have a serious look into it.

As for the food, I went with a meatball sub as to be easy and simple. The meatballs were cold, and I mean COLD. Even after toasting. The lettuce is soggy. The onions are soft. Plain gross. 2 for food as I was hungry. 1 star for service...

Don’t participate in central ms app/text/digital promotions. Subway is a franchise and all should be included. Only reason I came and bought a meal was because of the promo which they don’t participate in. Greedy owners/management!

Updated 9/22/2022: Originally gave it a 2 star but tonight I was reminded that was too high. 7 pm the bathrooms are close for no other reasons than the worker has cleaned them (don't close till 9 pm) and doesn't want anyone in them. I was told I have to eat with dirty hands because they've cleaned them already....WOW! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IN...

For as dead as it was when we arrived, I would have expected the floors to be clean. The food quality was I have come to expect from Subways across the nation. The service of this location was more than just lacking it was atrocious. We had questions about the bill and were told "It's on the receipt." We received two napkins for three sandwiches when we asked for more it was like we were an inconvenience to the young man that was running the cash register. While the sandwich, satisfied my hunger I think I would look for another place to spend...
