I've been here THREE TIMES and every time they've gotten something completely wrong. I used to work as a manager at the CARY moes, in crossroads, and this moes is HORRIBLE. I had a gift card for almost 80 dollars. I knew there wasnt anything wrong with the card, because i got it from MY STORE! Their systems wouldn't work with the card, even though you could literally call the number on the back and verify it had 80 bucks on it. So they said that they couldn't help me and they wouldnt give me any of my food! I asked if they could just exchange my giftcard for moe money, which is common practice at my store. They denied me any kind of exchange for the gift card, and wouldn't even replace the card itself with a new card for me. They just told me over and over to " go back to the store I bought the card from " So I drove all the way to the cary moes, exchanged gift card for moe money, and drove all the way back. I reordered my food, got all the way to the end, went to pay with 45 dollars in moe money this time, and the cashier told me they only let you use 15 moe bucks per transaction! This is completely incorrect, as moe money is marketed as the same as CASH in the first place, not as a DISCOUNT VOUCHER. Moe money doesnt have a stackable limit.
Then the employee from my visit before, who wouldn't exchange my giftcard, came up after i had gotten my food, and rang in everything as seperate transactions, and tried to tell me i couldn't use the moe money I had there!!
On top of that, I've not once heard a welcome to moes when I walked into the store or while I've been inside. Their food is always old and not cooked correctly. To be honest? this moes shouldnt even be in buisness and it just opened up.
Never going here again, and definitely telling others to avoid this location at all costs. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the meeting...
Read moreAt first it seemed like a good spot, especially for a birthday dinner with my family. As an avid Chipotle fan I was hesitant to try this. However, as we collected a family's worth of food, my food was not among the haul. It must have been given to someone else or stolen by the staff. When I asked where my burrito had gone, he replied with a simple 'dunno'. Feeling dismissed, I asked again where my food went. He simply said ' just go to the back of the line' as the restaurant experienced a high volume. Today is my sisters 18th birthday, and I had to wait approxomately 20 minutes in order for them to properly serve everyone ahead of me and then I could eat. As my mother witnessed this crime, she was baffled and went up to the register. The cashier didn't even apologize, he only utttered 'were doing what we can' (more like 'what we can't'). They finally made my burrito and I had to cut so many customers and I felt embarrassed because I had to order ahead of an established queue. What a great first time at Moe's. (This is obvious sarcasm). In my honest opinion, Chipotle far exceeds this restaurant and especially the staff. Never eat here. In fact, petition Google to erase it from the map. One star is too much of a gesture for this shack on the side of the road (it's not bad inside but the workers seem to have spawned from a shack-like environment with their attitude). Sincerely, the homewrecker with queso, the burrito that got...
Read moreThis location is clearly having staffing issues. Went in last night with my son to get takeout for the family. There were two people total working. The place was an absolute mess with food slopped all over the work surfaces. The worker who served us didn’t care one bit that he was putting the foil wrappers and tortillas down on a filthy counter while occasionally “cleaning” the work surface by lazily brushing off the counter with his hand or in the case of sour cream and quac, actually scooping it up with his hand and flinging it down to the floor. And then of course continuing to make our food with the same dirty gloved hands and dirty counter. They ran out of ground beef at the counter and so went and got a new bag of meat and proceeded to just pour it over the old ground beef remnants sitting there in a sloppy metal container. I don’t know why we didn’t leave right then and there. The food was just terrible. And today none of us feel well. Can never be certain but it doesn’t seem like a coincidence that we ate at this Moes location last night and today have symptoms commonly associated with food poisoning. If the owner can’t properly staff the store and enable the maintenance of a clean environment for workers and customers, they should reduce their hours. If the health department had shown up last night, they would doubtless have shut this location down for god knows how...
