Croissants and Baguettes: One of the standout features of Paris Banh Mi is their fresh baguettes, baked daily. The bread is the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, providing an ideal base for their delicious sandwiches.
I have tried the following Sandwiches:
B1 - Special Combination (Pork roll, Jambon, Pork BBQ): The Special Combination is a symphony of flavors and textures. The pork roll is tender and flavorful, the jambon adds a nice salty note, and the pork BBQ brings a smoky, savory element to the sandwich. Each bite is a delightful blend of meats, perfectly complemented by the fresh, crispy baguette.
B2 - Grilled Pork: The Grilled Pork Banh Mi is a standout with its perfectly marinated pork, grilled to perfection. The meat is juicy and flavorful, with a slight char that enhances its taste. Combined with fresh veggies and a hint of cilantro, this sandwich is a must-try for pork lovers.
B9 Croissant Special (Pork roll, Jambon): For a twist on the traditional baguette, the Croissant Special is an excellent choice. The buttery, flaky croissant pairs wonderfully with the savory pork roll and jambon. This sandwich is rich, satisfying, and a perfect option for those looking for a bit of indulgence.
Specials One of the best deals at Paris Banh Mi is their sandwich special: buy 5 sandwiches and get 1 free. This deal makes it easy to try a variety of their offerings or to share with friends and family. Veggies on the side is recommended if ordering sandwiches to go.
Appetizers: Crab Rangoon: In addition to their sandwiches, Paris Banh Mi offers delicious Crab Rangoon. These crispy appetizers are filled with a creamy mixture of cream cheese and shrimp. The combination is a delightful balance of textures and flavors, with the crispy exterior giving way to a rich, savory filling.

Read moreI've visited this place twice and sampled a variety of items. The first visit was right after their soft opening, and I returned yesterday. On both occasions, I tried something different each time, including both the regular and croissant versions of their Banh Mi.
During my first visit, I ordered six Banh Mi sandwiches to try different flavors, including two croissant versions: Combination, Grilled Pork, Pork Pattie, Pate Steamed Pork (regular), Pate & Pork, and Grilled Pork (croissant).
On my second visit, I opted for the Pate Chaud and Grilled Pork Banh Mi. However, I found the experience to be underwhelming.
Having frequented places like DC/NOVA area, San Jose, LA, and San Francisco where Banh Mi is abundant and delicious, I'd say the Banh Mi here satisfies a craving, but it's just ok....
The meat options were alright -- the Combination and Pate & Pork were decent, though I wished for more pronounced pate flavor in the latter. The Cha Lua (Pork) was standard.
The Grilled Pork had good flavor, but one dominating taste overwhelmed the others, which was consistent across both visits.
The Steamed Pork (Xa Xiu/Char Siu) was dry and lacked flavor.
The vegetables were decent and typical for Banh Mi. The bread was dense, lacking the airy fluffiness I'm used to inside, but it had a decent crunch on the outside. If you want better bread, the French-inspired Banh Mi place on TW Alexander stands out without naming names.
The croissant version had an oddly sweet exterior. The Pate Chaud was tiny and pricey for its size, with an okay filling lacking depth but not dry -- just two bites and it's gone.
I also tried their Artichoke Tea each time, which was good, though I haven't explored their other teas. I'd recommend skipping their packaged goods; you can find better options in Asian grocery stores.
Overall, it's an okay spot for Banh Mi in the area, but personally, I prefer the place on TW Alexander for a more...
Read moreWe've been a few times. First time was the grand opening and it was so busy. Food took a looooong time, but we figured they were new and figuring things out so no big deal.
Second time they were having issues with their computer and it took them a while to make our drinks, but it happens.
Third time we went and ordered 3 drinks, two of them are the same drink without toppings. We were the only people in the store and it took over 10 minutes to make the drinks. The employees stopped making the drinks to talk, dance, and laugh at their phones.
Don't go here if you are anywhere else to be, they are very slow.
The food is pretty good. Not my favorite bahn mi in the area, but still good. Having the choice of croissant or roll is nice. If someone offered to get me the food I'd eat it and be happy, but I don't ever choose to come here for the food.
The two times we got baked goods the bags they come in were sticky because they just use a gloved hand to move them from the tray to a bag, but they swap hands so the food is getting all over the bag when they pick it up. The made to order food is better than their bakery items for sure.
Thai tea here is very strong and I love that. They do seem to use a ton of ice and also have the highest priced drinks out of all the places we frequent. The menu is also split for cash/card pricing, which just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The drinks are already being over charged for and then I need to cover their merchant fee if I use a card.
Atmosphere is nice and clean. What you expect from a boba spot, some cheap mirrors on the wall and a plant/flower wall with a neon sign to take pictures in front of.
I'd say there are much better options in the area for nearly everything that is on offer here, and you can likely get the better options at a...
