Very disappointing.. I pulled into the space that said in your order or we will come out to take it. I got there at 7:00 pm called in and was put on hold for 10 minutes and 12 seconds and just listened to everything going on inside. While sitting there I watched a customer enter the restaurant with no mask on, walk across to the soda fountain and get a drink several times.i guess since it was a little busy they forgot I was in hold. So I hung up and called back but it was busy. So once I finally was able to get through again ,I asked for a manager. Unfortunately there was not one available in the store at the time.. and i asked the young man about being put on hold and forgotten about and also about customer being able to enter with a face coverage. Well in but some many words I was told that it is preferred that you wear on but we don't make you. I just felt like with Covid 19 and the health issues of people like myself that has to be extra careful. I just feel we need to do better this was a complete turn off. With this being my first time and now my last and only time. I will take my business...

I recently visited Penn Station East Coast Subs in Cary (NC) and had the chance to try their Classic Philly Cheesesteak and Classic Italian, and both were absolutely off the hook! The Classic Italian really hit the spot for my craving of quality Italian meats and cheese. I recommend it cold, as it lets the flavors of the meats shine through. The Philly Cheesesteak, served fresh from the oven, was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The combination of the tender beef, melted cheese, and seasoning made every bite a delight. The subs were so good, I couldn’t even stop to take a picture—which, as a foodie, is saying a lot! I usually make sure to snap a photo before digging in, but these sandwiches were just too tempting to wait. Plus, the restaurant has outdoor seating, which is a great perk if you're visiting with your pet(s).

The staff here were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for...

First time trying Penn Station subs and unfortunately I’m very disappointed with the service I got, specifically from the kid behind the cash register. Was waiting for over half an hour, a bunch of people who came after us were getting their food to the point all was left was my wife and I there still waiting on our order. The guys making the subs just start randomly staring at me and I decide to go up to them to ask about my order just for the kid to tell me he accidentally gave it to someone else…so then he tells me he’ll remake it 5 minutes…well over 15 minutes later he finally says our order name. Realizing he didn’t call out our name the first time when he gave our order to someone else Im thinking why even ask for a name for the order if you not even gonna call it out, makes no sense to me. At least the food was good but service awful and they didn’t seem to wanna...

First time at Penn Station in Cary -- I had the steak and cheese w/ mushrooms/onions/peppers on multi-grain -- very good! I like the banana peppers -- nice touch! The fries were meh... I went to pull one out and a clump came out stuck to each other. When I pulled one apart, it was not quite cooked (see pic). I really didn't need the fries anyway, the sub was substantial and filling. Also, it happened to be 'cookie Tuesday' where they were handing out free sample-size chocolate chip cookies - nice surprise and YUM! Staff was friendly, no long wait, it was clean and, what I really liked, was the layout of their restaurant. Arriving alone, it was nice to have ample 2-seater tables as well as a counter-height window table for seating options -- a well-designed layout including outside tables with umbrellas. Give them a try -- you'll be glad you did!

This was our first time trying the restaurant. We got a coupon so thought we would give it a try. The prices were kind of high in relation to the portions on the sandwich. We got a bit which only had 3 slices of bacon. The Italian sub was pretty good. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. There was barely any meat on the sandwich to the point I could not even taste it. I was charged additional for Swiss cheese (that I did not order). I just wanted the provolone cheese that the menu states it came with. It was one small slice of cheese that was cut in half, so the sandwich was mostly bread. The fries were ok, but they were hot, which was a nice change of pace. I really feel what we ordered was not worth what we spent (over $35). Probably won’t return, which is so disappointing.
