So I waited and debated about writing a review because I know times are tough in the service industry right now, however too many things were wrong. First I came in the gentlemen at the host stand was very nice. The girl on the other hand (shorter brown hair girl) dropped my menu off at the table before I even reached the table she walked away. I thought odd maybe that’s a new thing. However the table next to me had an older lady and a younger gentleman being sat and same thing she dropped the menus off on the table and walked away before they had reached the table to sit down. I just found it to be very rude. Next waiter comes over gets my drink order I asked for wings for appetizer and later he came back with bread I ordered a strawberry margarita with patron. It sat on the bar for 2 or 3 minutes before making it to me via another person. It was gross flavored margs generally come with sugar rims not salt. I took 2 sips and couldn’t stomach anymore. The server took my dinner order before my appetizer came out and I specifically told him I didn’t want to be bombarded with my food all at one time. I received my appetizer and not 2 min later my salad arrived. Luckily I was able to tell a lady wearing pink to please make sure my entree didn’t come out for a little bit. Fast forward to me enjoying my wings I’m watching a food runner or server assistant walking around constantly pushing her tray jack with a tray on the floor instead of carrying it out and setting it down. The dining room space is not very big and it seems to me that it’s an extra type of lazy to be pushing the tray jack around the floor as well as dangerous for people walking. When my entree arrived I ate my fries then go to cut into my steak which I asked to be medium it came out med well. I generally can eat it but this time I couldn’t. The server did offer to try to fix it but by that point I was just over it. I told him to just take it away. Overall this was a terrible experience at a place in use to being very on point. I’ve worked in restaurants for over 12 years now everything from hostess to manager to general manager I’ve done it all so I do understand how hard it is every day. You take what you can get when it comes to employees and from what I can see from while I was there you have some that are really great and you have some that need some work. I’m really sad to have to give a poor review but I do believe that complaints can be tools to help you better yourselves as a whole. Without complaints or customer feedback we don’t know how to become better at the end of the day. I honestly hope this helps...
Read moreFood was great. Once we got it. Decided to spend Father’s Day here as we always get good service as well as good food. Well Father’s Day we got good food but it took forever. We were seated at 6:40 after about an hour wait. We didn’t get to leave until just after 9pm. We placed a drink order then waited 20 mins for that. Then appetizer which we waited another 30 minutes or more. The waitress came by the table a few times and kept bringing drinks without asking. Then she came over and asked if we wanted more bread. I finally said to her no bread but we would like our food why don’t we have our food. She then got the manager to come by and the manager apologized and tried to make it sound like they were so busy and that was the excuse but that wasn’t the truth because we sat there and saw ppl come in, be seated, order and get their food and leave all the while we are just waiting waiting waiting. The manager blamed the kitchen but again that wasn’t true. I told the manager that the waitress was to blame. It was HER table. It was HER responsibility to notice her table was not being served. She said she would fix the problem. And Still more non training issues. For example the runner or expo brought some food to the table without having everything on his tray before he left the expo line. And he failed to say that there were items he didn’t have or that he would bring the missing items. He just dropped off what he had on his tray without a word so we then had to wait and then ask again for the rest of our missing food. Afterwards I came to the realization that the blame was actually The Managers fault. If she (the mgr) had been doing Her job and walking the floor, checking on tables to make sure this special day went smoothly then she would have noticed (or should have) that that table by the kitchen was not being served. Very disappointed to the point that we not be back. The manager adjusted the check (seriously that doesn’t make up for the unpleasant experience) but I only left a small tip per my husbands insistence. She didn’t deserve it. Having worked in the hospitality industry and owning restaurants in the past this restaurant needs a complete overhaul in the front of the house. All positions need serious training. The food was great. No problems there but that’s it. We were a party of 5 Wont be back to...
Read moreKierra is a fantastic server! From beginning to end, she has a very calming yet attentive demeanor, which is important in a busy environment. We were seated at a table near the back windows immediately by the host staff. Kierra listened to every request and responded in kind and had friendly and professional service with a smile and menu knowledge. The timing of the appetizer, salad, and entrees was just right. The bloomin' onion was cut and cooked well with the breading light and crispy. The salad plate was chilled and the house salad ingredients were fresh with just the right amount of dressing. We did not have to ask for drink refills as they were anticipated and there was teamwork and communication with staff members to deliver food and drink items on time. The steak ordered was to perfection- Outback can be counted on to cook steak to correct temps. Most places under or over cook steaks, but a Medium is a true Medium here so if you like MR elsewhere, a M is practically perfect with a seared yet buttery flavor. I do think the better cuts come with larger ounces, so definitely go for those. The flavor and seasoning was superb without any sauces, toppings, butter, etc. needed at all. Every bite from center to edge was equally great. Other details noticed were: proper ice in drinks with straws, food temps, sharp and diverse server presentation and representation, clean tables, chairs, & floors, comfortable lighting and noise levels, quality tableware (glasses, plates, silver, nap), portion sizes/value for price, manager presence. In addition, Kierra was swift and empowered for quick take home and bill checkout for a number of requests we had (packaging, discount, rewards, desserts, payment). The experience was efficient and nothing was slow or rushed. Upon leaving, I asked to speak to a manager and the hostess responded quickly. Within seconds, Ariel appeared with a smile and when I expressed how the service and food was just perfect, she thanked me and shook my hand. Top to bottom, this dining was one of the best had, particularly impressive on a Friday dinner rush. Kierra and Ariel were simply wonderful, as...
