I would like to say I come to this Starbucks often and always receive nothing less of immaculate service. I work at macgreggor draft house so I’ll stop here sometimes in a rush to get into work and they always take care of me. Today in particular, Gavin I believe their name was, took care of me. They were so kind and efficient, and I hate to say nearly broke my heart. I’m new to the Starbucks app, I came through the window, paid in cash, and asked if I could scan my rewards. It was completely my fault for not asking before I gave my payment. I say it’s totally all good and now I know for next time. Seconds later I’m being handed a couple of “comp cards” basically gift cards they would hand out if an order got messed up, ect. I get thanked over and over for my kindness. I was so utterly caught off guard because to me this is basic common decency to just be kind and take accountability for MY mistake. Even if it wasn’t my mistake. I’m wondering why am I being praised for being “so unbelievably kind” in the drive through? What I’m really wondering is, what the F* is wrong with humanity??? Who hurt this Barista? Why did they feel inclined to praise me for my basic kindness and understanding?? I of course made sure to kindly thank them and once again made sure they knew this mistake was on me!

Read moreIt's Starbucks food- frozen heatups. I'm not a fan of their food anyways- so just know that. Overall, this place has a very laid back vibe. As with any Starbucks- it's a requirement I guess for them to all have an industrial vibe that leads to everything echoing. It's loud for sure. There is a nice little meeting room that's glasses in with a door-it would make a great little area for a team meet up or something. I'm not sure if you have to reserve it or not. Chairs are pretty wood chairs with no padding. Pick those if you want your meeting to go quickly. There are larger tables for more than 4 people, which is super nice, one side like a booth and the other chairs. Bathrooms are large, open, and handicap accessible. Also are gender-neutral. Has lots of natural light, which I love. Also has a small outside area that is covered with chairs and tables. It's a much easier place to get in and out of than the one in the Costco...
Read moreOrdered through mobile order. Get there and my order isn't ready. The woman comes up to me and says, your order says signature and I don't know what that means. I said I don't either. She said okay. Cool. And started to make my order. I asked, what am I getting. The drive thru girl says, I don't know. What did you order. I show them my order on the app. They make my drink. It was made terribly. I can't help but to think they made it poorly because I didn't know what signature meant either. I ordered a java chip frappuchino. It was watered down. Mostly tasted like espresso. Not very icey. Way too many chips. There's literally about half inch of chips at the bottom of the cup's. Yes cup's.. plural. I ordered one drink and they said they leftovers so they gave me another cup. Which further tells me they don't know how to actually...
