Taqueria Campos — Restaurant in Cary

Friendly,family owned grocery store and butcher with some great homemade pick up sauces and tamales too...love this little store.Unfortunatley the Taqueria is not reliable for good food or authentic recipes the chef ( not so friendly) there said "customer come and customer go" when I complained about over cooked meat it had dry and hard bits in it. I will never,ever eat there again she is NOT a good cook.If she were my employee I would have her fired her immediately for treating customer so...

I've been coming here for the last few years and let me tell you I've had yet to find a place that makes a better burrito. Best burrito place I've been too, it's well balanced and lots of food for the money. It's all fresh ingredients, everything is made there. I always get the El Pastor and the marinate they use is perfect for burritos since it's not sauce heavy. Not the greatest place to sit down and eat but...

It's always an excellent experience going here! Everyone is so friendly and the food is nothing short of delicious every time, and most times, enough food for 2 people is only around 10-15 dollars. Cary is lucky to have several great Mexican food spots, but Taqueria Campos is easily the best. On Tuesdays, tacos are $1.78, and it's always fun to stop...
