Tipsy Goat Tavern — Restaurant in Cary

This is my reply to the owner: I am attaching a picture that I took. This picture will prove that I did NOT spilled any beer anywhere. You can look at your surveillance videos and it shows that I did NOT. After I left, I did NOT even enter your bar. I was waiting outside. I never ever want to be even near your place after how badly I was treated. Stop lying to make yourself look good. You guys will get your karma. ———— If I could rate zero stars, I would. I was trying to take a photo of my fist right next to a tap. Some lady yelled at me like I spilled the entire keg when I didn't. I didn't mean any harm. I just thought my fist was same size as the one on tap as show by the picture. It felt like she yelled at me like I am a nobody. That lady could have said it nicely. You don't treat people like that. I told her how she could have said it nicely and she was being b. My boyfriend and I left in a hurry because I could not stand how rude this lady anymore. We realized that we left boyfriend's card and we went back, I told the lady that she could have said it nicely and she should not be a b about it. The guy affiliated with tipsy was being so rude. He said that we spilled beer when we did not. Even their video can show I did not do any harm. I stand my ground that no one should talk to you so rude. To be honest, originally, my family and I were very excited to try out this new restaurant, It's Just Wings, but after we found out that we would have to order directly through doordash, just to pick up the order from a Chili's restaurant located in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and that we would have to place our order on doordash, then call Chili's, and have them change the order to what we specifically would prefer, such as extra crispy Wings, specific sides, Etc, and receiving a bunch of excuses from the manager at Chili's, with him saying that because they do not have It's Just Wings pricing in there computers, they could not simply write down the order on a piece of paper, and cook the food. So instead, I got a tip from a very good friend of mine, to head to the Tipsy Goat Tavern, located in Cary, Illinois. Not only could they easily take my order over the phone, and I could pick it up in person, but their staff was cordial, friendly, and their wings were absolutely excellent! I will definitely be making the Tipsy Goat Tavern, one of my regular Buffalo Wing stops, and I suggest that every buffalo wing lover, in the area,...

I've seen you've had this problem before. The law gives businesses the right to CHOOSE to deny vertical IDs but it's not the LAW that you do so. I'm sure that you'll respond adamantly that it's a law and not just your policy because the LAW allows you to "deny based on orientation" but to say it is an absolute LAW is simply not the truth. A more proper response to when people ask why you don't accept it is "We just don't take them here, but there's plenty of bars close by that do. I'm sorry about that." Or something similar. You'll continue to have this complaint, I'm sure, because what you're saying is not the truth. Just say it's your personal policy and not the "law".
