If no star is an option, I will definitely choose that!! So I was just at this Freddy’s location getting my lunch through the drive-thru. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo with Pepsi as the drink, the lady at the speaker said total is $8.05. So I prepared the exact change and when I got to the drive-thru window, the lady said $8.15. I asked her “$8.15, are you sure, I was told $8.05.” The lady reassured me and I handed her 10 extra cent. She handed me the drink and then one minute later my bag. I got the bag and peeled at it, saw on the receipt “double cheese burger combo with Dr Pepper as the drink”. I was like WHAT!!!?? I parked and walked into the restaurant with my bag of food and my drink. The guy, who appeared like the manager or the leader, was really rude!!! He did not apologize nor clearify with me and just said they’ll make me a chicken sandwich. I waited by the counter and watched while they prep burger after burger and no where do I see my chicken sandwich nor did he prep my Pepsi not hand me a cup so I can go get my Pepsi. It was a 10-15 mins wait then my grilled chicken sandwich was packed in a bag with fries. The guy handed me the bag and was ready to walk away. I said where is my drink? He looked at me with a “whatever do not care” face and went to get me my Pepsi, which was not all the way filled up. I then said I asked for ketchup when I was ordering. He then threw some packets of ketchup into my bag and was ready to walk away when I said, “just so you know you guys charged me extra when it was your fault that I got the wrong meal.” He looked at me rudely again and shuted that he’ll get my order refunded BUT went on to prep for other people’s meal!! I stormed out of the restraint because my whole point is not about getting a refund or my 10 cent back, I want them to recognize that it’s their wrong and fault. BUT it’s clear that this guy and this restaurant is a joke!! Never will I go back again with this type of customer service nor the nasty representation of the food nor the not so good taste of the food. The funny thing is that I bet you someone probably got my order and is facing a chicken sandwich on his/her table now wondering what went wrong...
Read moreStopped in after the lunch rush, could see crew in clean up mode around the kitchen from a busy lunchtime. Our food came out fresh and hot and was very good. We had California style burgers, kids steakburger and kids chicken tenders. The option to "hold" your custard until after your meal is a nice touch. In addition the option to add a mini custard to your order for a reduced cost is nice. I do wish this was an option for the kids meal too but the woman working didn't seem to think it was. The first employee we ordered from was very pleasant as well as the employee that served our food. When my husband went back up to get our custard the employee that waited on him was very unpleasant and acted like doing her job was an inconvenience. It is a rarity for me to give a place five stars. This place would have gotten four but I was appalled at the condition of their pop machine and drink counter. It was filthy. Not just lunch rush mess but desperately needed cleaning. Lots of sticky mess, crumbs all the way to the wall, hard water lines and dirt all over the front and mold covering the sides of the machine. Every employee has a personal touch that makes coming to Freddy’s a genuinely enjoyable experience! Every time I eat at Freddie’s, an employee makes sure to ask me how my day is going and has a short conversation with me. It’s nice to get to know each employee.
My favorite manager (Amy) does a great job at keeping everyone in line! She is always within earshot and will start helping people with problems just by overhearing the issue most of the time. When a new employee doesn’t know my order yet, she will rush up to the counter and make sure to tell the employee what I want. Sometimes this is done before I even enter the building! Plus she always tries to greet me when I come in which adds more to the whole experience.
