We were a group of five, seated quickly and given menus within a few moments. Waters provided and drinks ordered and delivered in a few minutes. Meals were ordered in a few minutes and delivered with some delay. When delivered, we were not provided with any utensils or napkins. Did not see the waitress again, so after at least five minutes, my wife went to the front desk and requested same. I love Mexican food and have enjoyed the offerings at many restaurants in the Seattle area. We were visiting this area, so in comparison with home offerings, we found the food to be rather unextrodinary and bland, not to the standards that we normally enjoy. The food is decent when it comes to Mexican restaurants in the valley, lacks seasoning but not bad. I eat here 5-10x a year. I almost NEVER complain, especially to the point of a review, but this made me so mad. My issue is that a side of guacamole is $6.02.. it sounds trivial, I know, and if it were a big side, I could justify that. However, I got my to go order with a 2-3oz plastic sauce cup half-full of old guac. Sauces/sides weren't listed on there website, so I asked her while there is the size/price were correct for that, she said yes. I didn't want to make a big deal to her, she was a server or hostess, not the one who set prices, and she was really kind. A whole bag of avocados at the local store is $5. Wow, this is a HIDDEN GEM! My husband and I were visiting Leavenworth and a friend recommended we stop by Agave Azul for lunch. I am so glad we did!
The service was excellent. Both our of servers were delightful and attentive. We also met the owner, Daniel, who was friendly and personable.
The food was amazing too! The tortilla chips were warm and fresh. And the salsa was perfectly spicy and flavorful (we ended up buying a 32 oz jar!). We ordered the chicken fajitas and enchilada/taco combo, which were both delicious and very filling!
And to top it off, we ordered the fried ice cream... SO DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend saving room for this dessert :)
