I came here looking for Mouthful but only finding signage for the Brewery. I decided to check it out since I love a good brew and wanted to see if they served food. Walked in and they were not busy at all, only having 5 tables of people there. Only a single table even had food, and they were finished eating. I realized that I was actually in Mouthful because of signature "M" burned into the top of the kid's half-eaten burger (as seen in the numerous photos for Mouthful). Everyone else was waiting for food, and based to the conversations, irritability, and number of empty glasses, all had been waiting for food for quite some time. Despite a couple of employees in the room, including the bartender, I was not greeted at all and eventually just had a seat. I was never approached or even acknowledged. I didn't even get to see what signature beers this brewery had to offer. After waiting for 10 minutes I finally left, still having never spoken with staff member. If this is how their service is on a lowly Thursday evening, I can't imagine trying to come to this place on a Friday or Saturday night. I am very disappointed, as I was looking forward to getting a burger and trying some beer. Do not come to this place if you are hungry or expect normally-timed service. If you plan on sitting for hours with some friends (maybe drinking beer if you ever get served) then this place may...
Read moreJust left the brewery. Not impressed, in fact quite disappointed. We arrived at 8pm, an hour before close and there were only two tables finishing up. Service was extremely slooow. First, my drink came in a dirty glass, which I didn't notice until I drank half of it. They replaced it once I brought it to their attention. And the bar manager did the right thing and comped it. Then after ordering the Italian bbq chicken we were told that they didn't have anymore mashed potatoes, and that they would be substituting it with a salad. Totally bummed because the mashed potatoes are supposed to be really good. 30 minutes later, the salad arrived, nothing special. The chicken then followed, and was completely burnt, not blackened, but more like charcoal on the underside on both entrees. It was nearly inedible. One piece of chicken was ok. The second side that normally goes with the mashed potatoes was you guessed it, a garnish salad. So two salads? That doesn't make any sense. We ate there a month ago and it was very good. Ordered the same thing and what we got tonight wasn't anything like what we got last time. Unfortunately, I don't know which order was the right order. Not going back...
Read moreBeer seems always better when enjoyed at the place it is brewed. The food menu is very simple bar food (burgers, pizza, fries, etc.). For the healthy mind a few salads ar e offered. Happy Hour 3-5 gets a few appetizers at half off and pints for $4. I bought a flight for $9 that gets you four 4oz samplers of the beers of your choosing.
Spacious seating and free games (pool, darts and board games) available to pass the time. The patio is also very spacious and has spectacular views of the the Casper area. There is also window that allow patrons to view the actual brewery area. I was told tours are offered but need to make advance appointment. I also noticed a cozy fireplace with a few large leather couches to enjoy. Restroom facilities are clean.
The service has very laid back feeling. You have to order your drinks at the bar and order food at a different location. Feels more like cafeteria service. I would recommend to staff if they see patrons waiting at a table to approach them and explain how it works.
A few items side from the beer can be purchased such as shirts and cozies.
Overall, relaxing environment for...
